My guess is that it took so long to stop her because they were avoiding dumping 200 rounds into the car because someone saw the child. When police decide to kill, they empty all clips, they did not do that in this case.

If you commit a crime ( say trying to force your vehicle into barricaded area of security twice and run over a cop) anyone who is harmed because you commited that crime you are responsible for their situation.

This appears to be an incredible overreaction by the DC police. A city on edge by one mass killing at a Navy yard and a Government shutdown that is fraying tempers and patience the direct result of the lack of leadership exhibited by this buffoon of a President.

No she didn't, the poor woman panicked and the officer was in the way. Why did they put up a road block with absolutely no warning? Would you still be defending them if the baby had been shot as well?
