If we were to completely end our working relationship with China, end all trade with them, they would have no reason to avoid going to war with us.

But as long as our economies are so strongly intertwined and interdependent it is in both nation's interest to avoid war at all costs.

It has been our own capitalists who went over there and exploited their cheap labor. Look at the upside. Our capitalists became fabulously rich in the process. Republicans have traditionally protected this economic power of the rich and powerful in America, calling it 'freedom of opportunity.' Isn't it a good thing that our rich became fabulously richer? If they used American labor they wouldn't be nearly as rich.

Are you not adamant about protecting our super-rich people?

sure......conservatives always want to protect Soros and Bloomberg and Gates......and then there's all those folks in Hollywood like Allysa Milano......and sports figures like Kaepernick...we sure do love all those rich people who support what we believe......
 
If it's not about protecting the super-rich, then why the concern about China stealing the technology owned by the super-rich? This is the same technology the super-rich use to exploit the middle class, extract the wealth of the American working class, and create ever more extreme wealth inequality in America. Why should we protect the right of the super-rich to exploit the 99%?

should people be allowed to come steal stuff out of your yard?

I have some issues with intellectual property rights overreach, and the protection of some sort of "commons", but lets not throw the baby of basic property rights out with the bathwater of corporate overreach.

should I be allowed to stop them, upto and including physical force? they are secure in the law prevents me from trying so why not steal everything I own becuase I have to wait for society to rescue me. That is what society is correct? I stop them I get arrested, sued, lose my home for defending my time living efforts to provide a comfortable time adapting in the moment.

depends on the state actually, and if you're home. castle doctrines etc.

if it's egregious enough on the interlopers part, i say take your chances. and have a jury nullification information rally outside the courthouse.
