What, in your opinion, are the primary causes of war? IMO, regardless of the stated reasons, it boils down to competition for resources; two tribes fight over hunting grounds, two states fighting over control of a river, minerals or even people (laborers/slaves).

To steal (take over) Taiwan. They also have designs on Japan.

Why the disputes about territory in the South China Sea? Undersea resources; specifically minerals but also fish farming.

As far as world peace, how do you suggest people like Putin, Erdoğan and Kim Jong-un be handled? I doubt they’d agree to give up control of their little kingdoms without a fight…including going nuclear.
