What has the right wing become.

I think Mike Pence sold out his faith to follow Trump. The my pussy comment is just stupid, I don't have one. By the way, you do realize anyone in this country who accesses our system for healthcare pays for "them" people's healthcare anyway.

Yet you didn't answer the question about Pence.

You don't have one. You are one.

You do realize that if someone accesses the health system and cannot pay the only two options should be they go without or send the bill to people like you that think they deserves something for which they're unwilling to pay. Their healthcare isn't my responsibility.

all of mankind is your judge asshole

even all those millions of black and brown people

the world hates you because you are a horrible hate filled lie garggler

They're not capable of judging anyone. They can't control their savage behavior. Who are they to judge anyone else.

Pense was never really a christian

he is a sociopathic asshole who USES that religion to gain power over others

I'm no Pence supporter, but why are you so full of hatred, negativity, and hostility? It is as bad as the racism you constantly denounce.

How would you define, or envision, us taking the government seriously?

When I was in college a few years ago there was a recall for the CA governor Grey Davis. There were severe problems with utilities deregulation. As it turned out it was all false problems created by companies exploiting the deregulation for profit. That said many people blamed Grey Davis. He was not without fault but he was not the root cause of the problem. That also said the recall initiative based on the utilities problems being experienced gained traction. The Republican's recruited Arnold Schwarzenegger to run for Gov. I would say about 50-60% of the students on campus...and I went to an elite school...voted for Arnie just because they wanted his signature on their diplomas (CA Gov signs all diplomas from state schools). What we were left with was an actor who was succeptible to bullshit that a more experienced politician would have been able to see through. He ended up with a fiscal crisis the size of Montana and to solve it he kicked the can down the road with bonds. We are just now recovering from that disaster. So that is what I mean by taking our government seriously. Electing serious people who can do the serious job of governing whether or not we like them. Instead of electing bullshit celebrities.

These people are so full of hate that they would sell out this country so they can continue to express their hatred of just about everything, as they wave a flag over the top of it and talk about god.
There has always been a group like this in this country but this well groomed group of the right had enough numbers to elect this hate monster. What says it all to me is that they are still supporting this piece of crap even when he is by all indications owned by Putin and the Russians and is more of a dictator then a President and is so far from the teaching of Jesus
How hypocritical and fake are these evangelicals , that were needed to elect this pagan, this anti Christ and what are their ministers that stood in front of their flock and told them to vote for this trash.
What has this country become. Will we get it back to where we help the needy, don't sell hate messages about immigrants, don't attack our government and our courts and media and every criminal watch dog in this country has. From any voice that won't support this mad man. How does this crap get a following in this country.

I find such stupidity ironic; nothing can match the hatred the left has for anyone who doesn't goose-step march with them. We see it daily.

It is equally moronic when the left attempts to label things like defending our borders, make America great and tarrifs hate rhetoric. But this is the hate filled desperation we see from a party that has no more ideas and whose ideology is a proven failure.

My Mother is a very right wing ultra conservative Christian. I still cannot get my head around how she still backs Trump. I think Trump is a cult.

What is amazing is how Trump took over the Republican party with ease. They Repubs did not put up a fight. They caved after many criticized him during the primaries pointing out that he is unqualified and dangerous. Trump imperils the whole concept of America, like the separation off powers to the understanding of diplomacy. His wreckage will haunt us for a long time.

Think what he does to individuals. Mike Pence cannot eat lunch with a woman not his wife. Trump grabs them by the pussy. Just think about that.

Wonder if he grabbed Pence's wife by the pussy?

Pence is 100% behind him, so I guess it would be ok.

I think Pence is lying about that. He is less religious than he pretends to be. I am sure Trump offends him regularly.

A serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome :rofl2:
:legion:

This I would like to hear about, tell us the other president that was the nut job scum bag is. This country has approached the needs of the needy in a totally respectable manner as far as I'm concerned, until now. Now we have a hate party taking from the poor to give to the rich. The only comparison I can think of now would be the total failure of Reagan with his goofball Reaganomics and tax law,

Andrew Jackson - nut job and genocidal
James K Polk - genocidal and power mad
James Buchanon - nut job who couldn't make a decision
U.S. Grant - Suffered from PTSD
Woodrow Wilson - Suffered a stroke and was permanently bedridden and faculty impaired for the last two years of his administration
Richard Nixon - nuff said

An elite school in California? Glad to see another fellow Trojan on here. I'm a Californian as was living here during that time. Gray Davis was absolutely horrific as Governor (thank him for increasing the state's pension crisis). Off the top of my head, so I could be wrong here, but we had partial deregulation which is what F'd us regarding energy. We didn't deregulate the retail pricing I believe.

The progressives in California of the early 20th century created the ballot initiatives of which make our state so crazy today. If they mean we don't take government seriously then we should recall the right for us to do so. We govern by initiatives at the ballot box.

Arnold had his ups and downs but Gray Davis clearly showed that being a career politician doesn't automatically make one competeant.

Part II answer

We have never taken care of our poor. There have been periods when we did a better job and periods where we have done next to nothing. That said we have never taken care of our poor.

Case and point BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure).

This was a system devised by the Clinton Administration to close down and consolidate military bases as part of the post cold war peace benefit. There was Navy Training Center just north of downtown San Diego. This was high grade waterfront property worth Billions. It could house up to 10,000 people rather comfortably. It was on the BRAC list. Part of BRAC was that any closed base could be sold to the local government for the price of $1 if they agreed to use it for relief of the homeless and poor. San Diego bought the property for $1 fought the contract in court and eventually settled that they could develop the property in 2 years. 2 years later we had high end restaurants, fancy markets, mega-churches and fancy gated communities. No homeless shelters, no benefit to the poor. Benefit the port authority of San Diego, the City of San Diego and wealthy developers.

I piss on your Trojan. I am a Triton (not that you would know who they are). UCSD we didn't do sports. Way too many nerds. It was difficult enough to get someone to talk much less engage in physical activity.

I've spent a decent amount of time at UCSD. My brother-in-law went there in fact. Have several high school buddies go there as well

Then you know from where I speak.

It may offend your conservative leanings but if you get a chance there is an outdoor cafe on the west side of the Student Union area next to the book co-op. Best coffee on campus and a serene un-college like atmosphere.
