What if everyone voted? The case for 100 percent democracy.

If we forced everyone qualified to vote, many of them would take the time to learn about politics. The truth is politicians' decisions do involve them. They should have input. The dumb ones would become Repubs and vote against their own issues and interests as Rightys and Trumpys do. But more participation makes the politicians more representative of the people.

If the argument is we need to force to people to vote so they would take time to learn about politics why do you think some people turn out to vote for say the President but not the state and local races? Is it a matter of them not knowing they exist? Or they think the President is some supreme dictator and voting for anything else doesn't matter? Some other reason? Because if you have voted at some point then its likely you have at least a modicum of understanding of politics. So then why do they not turn out?

Funny.

I used to LOVE democracy.
Thought it was the answer to all the world's problems.

Now I realize that giving EVERYONE the vote is NOT the answer.
Because most people are clueless morons.

We don't allow REALLY, stupid people to drive.
But we allow them to vote.
Not good.

Insulting whole populations is not going to get you anywhere.

Letting people vote is not about democracy.
A democracy is government by popular vote. There is no constitution and there are no representatives.
A republic also has voting, defined by the constitution that declares and defines that government.

But you're the idiot, so...

Yes, all those landlords and business owners who can't seem to get anyone to work for slave wages and pay to live in shitty, unmaintained apartments.

Jealousy again? You want money? Go out and make yourself worth something to somebody.

There totally was voter fraud.

Right, individual voter fraud committed by Trump voters.

But not widespread fraud committed by Democrats.

And you don't even believe that shit because on 1/6, when you had a chance to do something about it, you chose to hide your little bitch ass here on JPP.

Everything I typed in this thread on this is a fact.
If it offends people?
Guess how much I care?

Everything I stated about these idiots is true.
Poor people tend to be stupider/less intelligent.
Fact.

Stupid people are easier to con and they do not understand important political ideas.
Nor are they generally capable of deducing complex issues.
They should NOT be allowed to vote.
Especially considering there are FAR more stupid people than smart people.

Uhhhh...yeah.

What is your exact solution then, Benjamin Washington Jefferson?
Let me guess?
Change nothing.

oh yes.

there was widespread voter fraud by democrats.

ballot stuffing. ballot harvesting. lax security standards from covid exigencies.

bogus and conspicuous oddly timed vote spike uploads to the vote counting server on election nite.

totally rigged.

we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one.

All false.

bogus and conspicuous oddly timed vote spike uploads to the vote counting server on election nite.

So if the Mets are leading the Brewers 7-1 in the 8th inning, but the Brewers score 8 runs in the 9th, do the Mets still get the W?

Yeah, it's so juvenile and so lazy.

These people think that they are special because they project a facade of even-handed reason when all they really do is exacerbate partisanship by hyperbolically casting everything as a 1 vs. 1 conflict when it's far more complicated than that.

And when you raise that point, one of two things happens:

1. They get whiny and screechy and play the victim.

2. They conjure lies about themselves to establish credibility they've never had.

You are describing yourself again. Sorry, dude. You can't lay your own problems on anybody else.

You can't make the evidence disappear by wishing, dude.

"Freedom of not choosing" in this context is merely an excuse to be lazy and disengaged.
Nope. It's merely voting to not decide. It's called 'abstaining'.
You want to have all the benefits of heaping scorn on both sides without the responsibility of having to do anything to earn it.
You DO know what freedom of speech is, right?
I think you're afraid that if there's 100% voter turnout, you'll end up even more marginalized and isolated than you already are.
You are making up numbers again.
I think it would be a huge wakeup call because you wouldn't be able to posture that there is some "Silent majority" that agrees with you on things like this.
Strawman fallacy.

There's no such thing as widespread voter fraud,
You can't make the evidence disappear by wishing, dude.
and we know you don't believe it either because on 1/6, you were here on JPP posting instead of attending the insurrection in DC.
The insurrection was by Democrats when they conducted a silent coup and installed Biden as Chief Puppet. That didn't take place on Jan 6th.
So that makes me think you aren't sincere.

The greatest theft in the history of the world and you...sat on an anonymous forum and spread horseshit all day on 1/6.
You keep pushing The Oligarchy and you may just find out how serious people are someday.
