What Song Are You Listening To, Right Now?

We're now officially in the last week of our exciting general election campaign. Unusually amongst British people, i am thoroughly shameless about being "quite interested" in what you could describe as "political type shit and that". However, despite the revelation of three, count 'em, THREE leader's debates (a first in this alleged democratic state) i have managed to successfully avoid watching any of them.

I appreciate you American types are well used to these sorts of political beauty contests in which nobody says anything of note and the next 24 hours is taken up with "body language experts" analysing posture, smiles and those fucking annoying hand gestures they insist reinforces the stuff coming out of the politicians mouths rather than making them look mentally handicapped. Britons are not used to this.

Rather depressingly we seem to like it. It has "re-energised" politics and made people discover a previously unknown third party, the Liberal Democrats. So whereas previously the electorate didn't really have confidence in either Labour or the Conservatives, now they have no confidence in Labour, the Conservatives or the Liberal Democrats. Whereas previously the electorate were unaware of any real policies from any of the parties, now they are considering voting for the miserable Scotch one, the smooth posh one or the shiny new one using a criteria of "looking good" in High Definition TV and how many times they touch their lectern in a minute.

Cameron left exposed as rivals play to focus group findings that "the public would vote for a flamingo if they could"

There's fucking democracy in action for you.

Snapcase - Caboose. Every now and then, I'll listen to some old (sort of, in this case) hardcore stuff from my library. Snapcase made some of the best hardcore music from the 90's. They absolutely tore it up live.
