The political power of their money (donations ie) has permitted them to pass tax breaks for themselves and their investments. They have power over regulators too. They use resources at a far heavier rate and get breaks. They don't pay their share for police protection, fire protection or the infrastructure that they use so much . Theey get tax breaks on their companies too. They get to pass their money down creating dynasties with massive political power. The wealthy have the power of lobbying at their hands too. That is a strong impactor of what politicians votes for. Is there anyone who is ignorant of the power of money in America, other than Dark Hole?
