what was the best time in American history?

Horsehit.

-You have him on IA because yurt said he was legion. You used to call him Legion. He's not.
-Newt Ginrich was speaker of the house during the 90's and made failed attempts to revoke Glass Steagal. Only someone being willfully obtuse would pretend that this law was revoked overnight without years of advocating for its demise on the part of right wingers. Of which Newt was a very prominent and powerful member.
-I love how the comedic team of Superfreak and Cawacko have spent years claiming Clinton is not responsible for the good economy because he had a Republican Congress. But now that is all by the wayside, and he was responsible for this. Own your own hypocrisy first, then talk about others.

1. He's Dune. I saw enough of his posts to know I had no interest in talking with him or reading his trolling.
2. Republicans controlled both houses of Congress. Yes it was Republicans who pushed the legislation through Congress. I have never said otherwise. It doesn't change the fact that Gingrich was gone almost a year when the legislation was signed and the votes were taking place. Stating Newt was gone is not saying Republicans didn't push the legislation in Congress.
3. I haven't spent days, let alone years, saying Clinton wasn't responsible for the '90's economy. In fact I don't talk about Clinton all that often. I have and will say both Congress and the President played a role in what happened in the '90's. So you can call that hypocrisy if it makes you feel better but me thinks you are just throwing a partisan temper tantrum for some reason.

lol... I didn't catch that... Poor Rune... lying again.

Bullshit you retard, Newt pushed the bill for years, it makes no difference if he was still in office, doesnt make me a liar, and the president, like any president had to sign the bill to get what he wanted, regardless of whether he wanted to repeal the banking law or not you lying asshole.

Cawacko; you are too ignorant to even comment in this thread.
Boris the animal is looking for someone to agree with him, he is more your speed you stupid prick.

Fuck you you ignorant freak.

yes, you are indeed full of horseshit.

1) Gingrich was not there when it was actually repealed. To say 'he tried before' is irrelevant. He did not actually do it.
2) I have stated many times that Clinton did the best job at trying to be fiscally responsible (along WITH the Rep Congress). That doesn't mean he or the Rep Congress are responsible for the economy as a whole as much of that was set up before Clinton came to office. The tech/internet/biotech boom began in the late 80's early 90's. If you would like to show us policies that you think Congress wrote and Clinton signed that were a plus, I would be happy to discuss.

Darla took you down, bitch, and you are not man enough to admit you are wrong.

I had him on ignore for the first year because I believed he was Legion.....when the mods said he wasn't I took him off ignore....two days later I put him back on because he was just as stupid as Legion......

Now that I have skewered both of you with one post, I have a long meeting and won't be back till this afternoon. So relax and don't panic, you have hours to come up with a response together.

Hours is not nearly long enough.

My first semester in college. I can remember vividly this kid in the dorm across from me would arrive home from class at 4pm and turn on Smells Like Teen Spirit as loud as his stereo would go. Kid kind of resembled Cobain in looks as well and he spent the whole semester growing out his hair trying to look like him. Fall 1991.

No wonder you are ignorant, you are just a little baby.

That's a little harsh. It was just a l'il groan.

I don't use "groan" a lot, but I really did groan when I read that one. It wasn't a huge grown; kind of subtle.

But a groan nonetheless.

It is comical how he and Desh get so worked up if someone groans them. Especially Dune.

'87 is somewhat early for me. I'm a bit younger than you but had an older brother so I was listening to Straight Outta Compton, The Great Adventures of Slick Rick, Eazy-Duz-It, It Takes a Nation of Millions, Paul's Boutique and other shit that I had no business listening to at my age. But my favorite period isn't too far off from yours. Probably the '90 - '95 era. If you cut it off at 1991 you miss some cool shit (though it includes The Chronic, you miss Biggie, 2Pac, Wu Tang and lots and lots of other stuff) and while I listened to earlier rap, most of my exposure was in this period.

You are younger than Cawacko? Wow.

Oh STFU windbag. It's beyond dishonest to claim that correctly pointing out newt was a big part of repealing glass is a lie. Go blow smoke elsewhere.

If he's a troll so are you. So am I.

It's dishonest to claim that newt had nothing to do with repealing the act. That's what you claimed when you laughed at runes post. Period.

How about you STFU for once? Umkay?

1) He did not point out that Newt pushed for it. He stated that Newt repealed it. Newt did not.
2) Again, do STFU for once.
