Who Is Trump Indebted TO????

lol.....well time to go back to work......thanks for letting me make you look like an idiot.......if you find the NYT providing any evidence that their "report" contains any facts, let me know.....

You lied about owning businesses to try and lend your argument that Trump is successful credibility it doesn't otherwise have.

if you find the NYT providing any evidence that their "report" contains any facts, let me know.....

Again, the reason the NYT didn't publish the actual records is because doing so would break confidentiality laws.

So they just reported on what they got leaked to them, which is what reporters do.

But Trump could simply release his tax returns to own the libs.

Strange that he won't.

Hello Nordberg,

I saw his 2019 taxes on the net a few months ago. The first half listed all his assets. They were impressive. It was a long list of very expensive properties. They really added up, but his estimates of value were worthless. He claimed as an example that many were 50 million. Nothing is that. He was making them up. But still, it was an impressive list.
Then the debts were listed. As I added them up they took away the balance eating up the assets. He was kind of still in the black, but he had some serious debt coming up nearly simultaneously. They are a real problem. He can not easily liquidate the properties since he owes so much. The banks are personal loans. That puts him in more and personal jeopardy.

VERY interesting...

We know that Trump did not get money from American banks, since he cheated them one time too often. He got his money from questionable sources. The Deutsche bank branch he was dealing with charged with assisting criminal activities in the past including money laundering. We also know daffy jr; said we gaet all the money we need from Russia. Getting questionable or illegal money can be expected from Trump. Breaking laws is a sport to Trumps. But when he did with the money was unheard of for him. He bragged about being the king of debt. Now he bought up extremely expensive golf courses paying cash. Any investor knows how poor an investment a golf course is . yet he bought several. It certainly has the appearance of a money laundering vehicle. If they were really investments, he would have put money down and paid off as time went by. That would have released a few hundred million for other investments.
This entire scenario makes no sense especially for Trump. Something is wrong.

The value that he's either underreported or overreported, again, at the heart of the audit.

Flash, did you read the NYT's report? Be honest.

Yes. I saw nothing to indicate the Trump Tower is not worth $471 million.

I only found this:

"Among businesses he runs, Mr. Trump’s first success remains his best. The retail and commercial spaces at Trump Tower, completed in 1983, have reliably delivered more than $20 million a year in profits, a total of $336.3 million since 2000 that has done much to help keep him afloat."

Ah, but he has over a billion in debt, doesn't he?

So if he sells Trump tower at that $471M value, he's still in debt.

In fact, if he sold ALL his properties at the value he ascribes to them in his tax records, his net worth would be negative.

To whom does he owe all that money?

Help him keep AFLOAT?

So...what does that mean for everything else he "owns"?

If this thing is the only thing that keeps him AFLOAT, it means all his other businesses are failures, doesn't it?

So is that why he carried over all those millions in losses?

And that thing is only worth $471M.

His debts are in excess of $1B.

So if you subtract $471M from $1B, what is the balance?

I don't know who he owes and neither do you. You have no clue if it is "loan sharks." And there is still no evidence that it subjects him to blackmail or security risks. More wild speculation on your part.

His $3.1 billion wealth is mostly in his properties. It might cover his losses.

Every few weeks we have had a new smoking gun that would destroy him creating major drama by the anti-Trump people. None had any real effect. The ones who became so incensed already hated him and his supporters didn't care. Didn't the FBI check his security background?

No reason to believe this is any different.

Don't you think that's a problem, given he's POTUS?

Aren't there potential national security risks for the President to be personally indebted to "undisclosed lenders", some of whom are probably foreign? We know he doesn't get loans from US banks...so...?

And wouldn't such a personal debt obligation make him susceptible to influence and/or blackmail?

Oh right, you don't believe money buys influence...must be why Trump is so forthcoming with his financial info (THAT is sarcasm, BTW).

Trump doesn't even own the buildings with his name on them. He "rents" his name to property owners.

Isn't that totally leveraged out?

Ah, but that's what he's valuing it at...that's not its true value.

Trump was audited for fudging the value of those assets.

So do we really believe he has $3.1B in wealth? What is that according to?

And you help that by convincing yourself that the President's billions of dollars in personal debt obligations is no big deal.

No, the FBI did not check his security background.

Different from what?

Forbes

I said no such thing--you are making stuff up again. I said none of us have any clue who lent him the money or whether it is a security problem. That puts us in the same boat. We don't know and can't do anything about it.

Different from what?

Different from any of the other smoking guns Democratic posters were sure were going to destroy Trump. Just drama.

You don't care that the guy you've put everything into -crafted your whole persona around- is a deadbeat?

Well, birds of a feather...

Of course the Trumptards don't care. He is how they see themselves, he is the mirror that reflects their black, hateful souls. They are worshiping a false idol, an empty suit who lives in a paper pyramid.
