Why should the United States of America remain a fifty-state country?

You have never been the brightest crayon in the box:

Current Supreme Court precedent, in Texas v. White, holds that the states cannot secede from the union by an act of the state. More recently, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia stated, "If there was any constitutional issue resolved by the Civil War, it is that there is no right to secede."

So you screech Willard then cite Texas v. White and then have the temerity to question how bright I am?????

You asked, I answered. Do you have a problem with that SC decision?

Yeah I do. I dislike it anytime the federal govt dictates what someone or a state can and cannot do. I know it must be done from time to time but it should be rare.

Really dont give a shit what you like or dont like. I guarantee you have never read the first sentence of that particular decision.

Cut the bull shit, you never read a single sentence of that case.

I had to find another site that 'explains' the decision in better terms............and 'IF' this explanation is anywhere near accurate, it only confirms my position that the SCOTUS is not, and cannot, be the final arbiter of the constitution, especially because it seems like that particular court doesn't know jack shit.

from the explanation of the decision: https://www.britannica.com/event/Texas-v-White

The suit contended that the transfer of the bonds was illegal because the bonds were not signed by the governor, as required by federal law. The defendants contended that, while a state may bring a suit in the Supreme Court, Texas had no such right in this case because it had seceded and, therefore, the federal law was not applicable at the time the bonds were transferred. The Supreme Court held that the intention of the Confederate States to secede meant that they had only temporarily lost privileges of Union membership but had not lost membership itself.

Once again we see the highest court in the land absolutely twist and torture legal speak to bring about a conclusion that THEY want, not according to the constitution.

No. In fact, when did the US ever fight a war against itself to free the slaves? What was the main reason President Lincoln conducted the War of Northern Aggression? Hint: Letter to Horace Greeley.

In this case it'd be over resources, mostly water, but also timber, minerals, transit. Example: what if Kansas decides to put a $1000 tax on every vehicle transiting the Great Midwestern Alliance either on I-70 or I-35?

A logical response would be "well, they'd just drive around". Sure, but that's where the importance of knowing "where the lines are drawn" comes into play.

There has been no upside to keeping the status quo and I am not an advocate for remaining in abusive relationships. Divorce and separations can be complicated and messy but often times there is no choice. Cut your losses and get the fuck out.

Tell your handlers that what they found for you to post is meaningless.

LOL!!

Fuck England. Unlike you pining for Poland over a few hundred posts, you seem content to sit on your fat fucking ass and bitch about the United States instead of taking an offer to help you leave for Poland. Why you wimping out, Pilecki? Are you just another pussy polack?

A.) I am more like the Founding Fathers than you in ideals.

B.) Considering you never attack anti- White, anti- American Guno or THQ64, I'm calling you an anti Polish pile of bullsh[t.

C.) I love the town I'm in.

D.) When my families came from Ireland, and Poland to New York, it was far different. Basically no Blacks & Latinos. Muslims & Asians.
Tons of manufacturing & it was far more affordable.

To use a favorite LW argument, Hitler saw no upside in the status quo either. He sought to dominate Germany for their own good. You know, für die Kinder.

The Constitution is all about improving freedom. People, regardless of party or political leanings, who seek to deprive others of rights are enemies of American ideals, they are enemies of the ideals of the Founders. Even Jefferson felt slavery was wrong even as he banged the shit out of Sally. Times should change for the better, not the further restricting on human rights as many people seem to desire.

The South is the blight of America.

Highest amount of murder & Fed welfare / benefit use per capita, lowest amount of Fed taxes paid into the system, then states like New York have to fund their lousy military adventures.

All the more reason for y'all to leave us. Buh bye!

WOuldn't it be better to just ship them off, repopulate the south w/ good ppl??

I bet these hard working folks could make a real go of it in Siberia..

Why should people with completely incompatible values try to share borders, laws, tax codes, and a government in general?

We see the anger and hatred in America today.
There's no sane reason to believe that it will do anything but get worse. It's getting worse by the minute right now.
The hatred is palpable, and as we're divided so evenly, half the country is ALWAYS going to be in a stage of white hot rage,
even if it's not always the same half.

For now, we don't seem to have the stones to do anything about it.
We're going to make ourselves the new Afghanistan. Remember these words. It can't NOT happen the way we're going.
Only when things get that bad will people see the value of partition as the people of the USSR, Yugoslavia, and Czechoslovakia saw it not that long ago.

By then, however, there won't be much to save.
We'll have burnt most of it down by then.
And history will view us as the most pathetic assholes in the history of the human species.
And if that's the language used, it will have been too kind.

Actually America should be a total of at least 53 states when it comes to Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and America Samoa.

One of my favorite 90's games called Lemmings. They are perfect representation of Trumpkins.
