TA has consistently sided with authoritarianism, Putin, Trump and the concept of having a One Party State. He's not the only one on JPP, but, AFAIK, he's the only one of two who took the oath of enlistment who is doing so. IMO, it's treason.

Anyone who isn't a Putin cocksucker can see Zelensky only banned pro-Russian parties in a time when Russia has invaded Ukraine.

I guess when one has invested their heart and soul into worshipping the noted War Criminal Vlad Putin, it is difficult to abandon that worship and come down on the side of morality and righteousness.

IMHO, it's irrational behavior. Notice none of them have an interest in going country with those dictators. They just want a dictatorship in the US to be forced upon all Americans.

Trump has no core beliefs or principles, which probably make it easier for him to flip flop at the drop of a dime.

Trump's worshippers actually believed Trump, and were totally convinced and emotionally invested in their admiration for Dear Vlad.

That makes it harder to change and reevaluate.

Why do people keep saying those parties are banned? Their political activities are suspended during a duration. As to if it was a smart move, it's anybody's guess.

IMO, Trump is always for Trump and he'll do/say whatever garners him the most approval. He loves the limelight to satiate his narcissism.

His followers are fanatics operating on emotion not logic. Studies on Q anon will keep Psychology and Sociology Master's and Doctoral students busy for decades.

Fanatics can only see one direction as if they were strapped to the front of a train. Once started, they only see straight ahead. Intelligent and sane people can see the alternatives or even change in mid-course.

Consider my favorite political subject Guns. Yes, I can see the problem with nutjobs getting guns. The anti-gun fanatics simply want to eliminate all guns, which both punishes the innocent and erodes individual rights in favor of the collective. The pro-gun fanatics want to resolve all disputes with a firefight. Both groups only see what is in front of them, not all the other possibilities.
