From my undertanding it wasn't the Last Supper. It was a representation of a Bacchanalia.
Just because people sit at a table does NOT mean it is an attack on Christianity.
Actually my understanding was that none of the stuff the American religious folks got pissed about was actually related to religion in any way. It was usually a reference to some other mythology with nothing to do with Christianity.
