Disney Pulls Plug on $1 Billion Development in Florida

No, I didn't.

"While Disney+ saw a drop in subscribers, other facets of The Walt Disney Company thrived. According to a report from Nexstar reporter Scott Gustin, Disney Theme Parks saw $2.1 billion in profits, up 35% from last year."

The theme parks are up but Disneys overall profits dropped from 14 billion to 13 billion specifically coming from their animation department.

Disney has far more going on than just theme parks

The fact that she is black doesn’t matter to me but what does matter is that they changed her skin color simply for political reasons.
If it didn’t matter to you, why bring it up? Political reasons? Seriously? See it does matter to you.

IMO, it’s all about the money. Always.

No, the little mermaid was white

See? It does matter to you. Of course, you also think both the Russians and Chinese are so fucking stupid that they don’t know the Moon landing was faked. LOL

How do you know the little mermaid is white, dear? Because you read Hans Christian Anderson’s story in the original Danish or because you watched a Disney cartoon? <—- note the irony if it’s the latter. LOL

I go there every year and that’s not really true.

The parks, while busier, are still maintained very well which is why they still bring in money.

I can only speak of the one in California however so have no idea about the others
That was Benjamin Franklin's vision for Philadelphia. All the business owners got together and paid to keep the sidewalks and streets clean knowing it was good for business. Philly brought in so much money that Franklin used some of it to build a library so the public had access to books for free. Was Ben a socialist?

His vision went to hell once the democrats took over.

It is difficult to do business with Disney. It's their way or the highway. Governors come and go.

Yes, Disney is a very large entity, and very domineering. That governor may go on to become president...

On Thursday, Mr. Iger and Josh D’Amaro, Disney’s theme park and consumer products chairman, showed that they were not bluffing, pulling the plug on a nearly $1 billion office complex that was scheduled for construction in Orlando. It would have brought more than 2,000 jobs to the region, with $120,000 as the average salary, according to an estimate from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.
