In the Midwest blackout, gas stations were closed. My wife was low and she tried to find a station and there were none open. I hate to bust your bubble with reality, but that was a real-world demonstration. That was a fact you idiot.

Solar is the most expensive form of generating electricity, with wind a close 2nd. They can only survive because of government mandates and subsidies. Just like EVs.

Iowa is a huge producer of ethanol, a fuel moderator mandated again by government.
It is also a huge producer of methane.

But as Germany, Denmark, Britain, Australia, Spain, Italy, and many more countries have already discovered, solar and wind jack the cost of electricity out of sight, usually doubling or tripling it. That makes it unaffordable for the poor and working stiffs. It also makes the national grid of those nations unstable, unreliable, and prone to blackouts, brownouts, and momentary losses of power.

Bottom line: Wind and solar are total losers as power generation sources.

They are providing huge amounts of the electricity we use and you call it a loser. The pollution from fossil fuels is killing us all, slowly and surely. Any kind of livable future requires alternative energy sources.

Yes, total loser. It should be obvious to anyone that pays even scant attention to energy production as to why. If you don't like fossil fuels being used to make energy, then you should be championing nuclear and hydroelectric where its available as those two are the only cost effective and reliable sources of electricity that don't produce carbon. Geothermal is too localized to be much use outside very specific locations.

Producing carbon is a good thing. It's fuel.

Carbon dioxide is, of course, not pollution. It's a naturally occurring gas.
