As for Jake's having outdoor seating, I had never been there and relied on their webpage which does not mention outdoor seating. If they do, indeed have it, I was unaware of it, therefore, my statement was definitely not a lie. As for NYC and their homeless problem, I certainly do not think the answer is as ridiculously simplistic as you would suggest... I don't know anywhere near enough about what happens in that city to be able to speak intelligently about the causes of its homeless problem... So no cop out there. Certainly wouldn't try to tell you how to do AC&R repair, and refraining from doing so is certainly not a cop out... I think it is wise to avoid billing onesself as an authority on things when one isn't one... Like you and the Talmud... Or you and aircraft carriers... Or you and just about anything other than home improvement projects.
