What you small brains are missing is that ever since Citizens United and NAFTA big business runs America. Not the citizens.

If the low wage workers, the ones working "first phase" jobs can't afford anything to get them past that phase, we are at a failure.

The TOP keeps asking more and more for the product and finding ways to get labor cheaper and cheaper. This has been done for centuries now, It's not a today issue.

So today we see single products costing us wages we have to save up for instead of the former alternative, going to the store and buying lots of things we need. Corporate profits are at an all time high. This is pretty basic economics. (I know this forum is weak on economics though)

“Citizens United.” Shouldn’t your opposition to it include the fact that it opened the door not just to BIG business, (your hated foe), to smother politicians with campaign donations, but it also opened the door for ”EVERY SPECIAL INTEREST” to smother politicians with campaign donations? “NAFTA.” I’m no particular fan of NAFTA, but I’m still waiting for its opponents to display Ross Parot’s “Huge Sucking Sound” that sucked all of those North American jobs south of the border or for them to produce actual viable statistics that prove NAFTA abolished one single more North American job than it created in North America.

Your so-called “monopolies” are actually Small Franchised Businesses. McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy’s and most other fast food establishments are not multi-billion $ international businesses. They’re owner operated small business establishments franchised by multi-billion $ international corporations. Raising the authoritarian extortion of a minimum wage only has the very, very greatest effect on the owner operators, (THE LITTLE GUY.) It’s less than a mosquito bite to a multi-national corporation.
