HENRICO, Va. -- Eight women who appear to be from out of state were arrested overnight, Saturday into Sunday, on credit card fraud charges.


Nyana Williams, Keonine Mack, Raven Howell, Sarah Torrence, Shawnee Senesie, Khadijah Moran, Shanica Baron, and Jasim Henry were the women arrested.


Investigators told CBS 6 the eight women had a minor with them, so on top of the credit card charges, they are being charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.


CBS 6 legal analystTodd Stone said all the women face felony charges that are punishable with jail time.


All eight suspects have home addresses that are listed in New Jersey and New York. Stone explained that this may be a sign that the alleged credit card fraud in Henrico is part of something much bigger, that could span the East Coast.


“This could be the type of thing that’s going up and down 95, I’ve seen that many times, where they will come down the interstate and hit different locations.”


The women are being held in Henrico County Jail and should appear in court this week. Stone said the suspects will likely not be let out on bond since they appear to be from out of state.

DETROIT, MI – Police have accused 28-year-old Elazar Withers of using a dating app to meet and rape multiple men during an early morning crime spree.

Police say that Withers used the cell phone dating app Jack’d, used primarily for gay and lesbian hookups, to rob and rape multiple men early Friday morning.


“It looks like this guy went on this website and was reviewing the website to see who is out there, who wants to go on dates,” said Sgt. Marvin Jones. “And then he set them up to rob them and sexually assault them.”


Withers met his first victim, a 37-year-old man, who he carjacked at gunpoint. The man was able to run from the scene and report the incident to police. Two hours later, Withers used the app to meet a 30-year-old man who he forced into the car before robbing and sexually assaulting him. The victim was forced from the car and was able to flag down a police officer.


Four hours later, Wither met another man using Jack’d and followed the same pattern. He drove the victim to a secluded area where he robbed and raped the man before forcing him out of the vehicle.


Withers was arrested on Monday during a traffic stop and is now facing a list of charges, including criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping and felony firearm possession. Investigators believe there are more victims and are asking anyone with any additional information to to contact police at 313-596-1950 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.

[h=2]An illegal immigrant has been arrested and charged with raping and impregnating a 12-year-old Texas girl, authorities say.[/h] Prosecutors charged that in 2015 an illegal immigrant, Jose Alejandro Najarro, tried to convince his 12-year-old victim to have sex with him, but she refused. Refusing to take “no” for an answer, the suspect allegedly raped her at his home in Kyle, Texas.


Several months later, the girl was found to be pregnant and an investigation into her predicament was begun at that time. The girl told authorities she only had sex one time and that was with the suspect.

The child also said Najarro pursued her for months after their first encounter — even offering her money at one point — but she steadfastly refused to go back to his home.


Najarro has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and was booked into the Hays County jail on March 24. He has also been placed on an immigration detainer. The investigation into the rape is ongoing.

Tampa cops received calls about the video last week, but cops didn’t act because nothing in the footage conclusively shows when and where the X-rated party happened, a department spokeswoman told The Post.


Reps for the nearby Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department said they were not aware of the footage.


Critics blasted the twerk-fest as child abuse, the Daily Star reported.

“The mother should be put in jail and the stripper should be fined,” one disgusted video viewer said. “Disgusting.”

'I seen my baby lying on the ground,' she tearfully told the Chicago Tribune before saying she watched video of the event just hours after the shooting.


'Oh my God, no,' the mother could be heard screaming in the harrowing video.

'No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. ... Oh my God, I don't believe this. I don't believe this,' the recording continues.

A report by ABC7 identified the victim as 31-year-old Brian Fields, who friends say is better known as Sugar Ray.


Brian's mom told the Tribune that prior to the shooting, her son who was visiting from out of town, met her at a gas station near the corner store.


She said her son got a phone call from a friend and he agreed to meet the friend around the corner where he was shot.


Anthony Guglielmi, the Police Department's chief spokesman, said on Friday that the shooting may have been a retaliation against the victim who was convicted of murder in 2009 or it was gang related. Police also said they are confident that the video is not a hoax.

18-year-old accused of indecent exposure at Kum & Go Mason City gas station


MASON CITY — An 18-year-old Des Moines resident is accused of exposing himself at a Mason City convenience store.

Gabriel Newell-Terren Lee was arrested Monday afternoon on a misdemeanor charge of indecent exposure.

Police were called around 2:30 p.m. to a report that Lee was performing a sex act on himself at Kum & Go, 418 S. Federal Ave., according to a police statement.

He’s accused by police of exposing himself to at least one of the store’s customers.

Connecticut couple accused of buffet fight over crab legs

Latoya Knight, 38 and Clifford Knight, 46, were arrested Saturday night after allegedly attacking a man over crab legs at a Connecticut buffet.


A crabby husband and wife were handcuffed Saturday after starting a shellfish showdown at a Connecticut buffet, authorities said.

Clifford Knight, 46, and his wife, Latoya Knight, 38, assaulted a 21-year-old man over crab legs during an 8 p.m. fracas at the Royal Buffet in Manchester.

One of the suspects landed a brutal punch on the victim’s face, dislodging the man's front tooth, WVIT-TV reported.

The victim’s mother whipped out a canister of pepper spray and hosed her son’s assailants with the irritant in self-defense, cops said.

Police arrested the couple, charging Clifford Knight with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. His wife is facing disorderly conduct and threat charges.

The victim’s mother will not face any charges for using pepper spray.

New Orleans couple shot dead in bed next to their newborn baby girl

Dawn Scott, 28, and her boyfriend Raynell Kimbrough, 31, were found in their home Monday morning after being shot multiple times, with family left guessing at what could have led to their violent deaths.


One of Scott’s older children, 10, discovered the couple and rushed to a neighbor’s house, according to The Advocate.


He and a 2-year-old boy were left unharmed along with Rayne Kimbrough, who was born last month but is now orphaned after being left alive six inches from her mother.


The children have been taken away from the scene by state authorities, though relatives say they will petition for custody on Tuesday.


“DCFS makes every effort to place a child with a relative. However, before doing so, DCFS must assess each of the individuals offering to care for the child/children,” a Department of Children and Family Services spokeswoman told The Times-Picayune.


Other family members and police said they did not yet know of any motives for the killings, and police said there were no signs of forced entry.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man wanted for attacking and robbing a 91-year-old woman has been caught nearly a month later.


Terry Yarber, 22, faces a list of charges including aggravated robbery, fraud and identity theft.


Police say he attacked an elderly woman with pepper spray and stole her purse on March 8 in the 1700 block of Mignon..


Surveillance cameras spotted Yarber that same day using the stolen bank cards at the Highway Express and Exline Pizza on North Watkins.


Yarber was known in the neighborhood of the attack for soliciting yard work.


Police say Yarber confessed when they arrested him Monday.
