And we are expected to believe this?

Kushner "remembered" it long AFTER he filled out an SF-86 (contact with foreign nationals) form? That is howlingly false and anyone who has ever filled out that form will confirm it. It is filled with dire warnings of prosecution and prison for any falsehoods or omissions.
Period.

[h=3]Carla[/h] NY https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/08/us/politics/trump-russia-kushner-manafort.html#permid=23178027So your Dad just wins the nomination and Donnie Jr decided to prioritize attending a meeting called by an “acquaintance” and he doesn’t know who it’s with till he gets there regarding Russian ADOPTION issues and just happens to invite Jared and Manafort who also have nothing better to do? Sounds completely legit.

Here was the Trump campaign, just two weeks after clinching the Republican nomination for the presidency, and the FIRST thing on their mind was the plight of orphans in Russia! Their cup just overflowed with the milk of human kindness for anonymous Russian orphans even though they seem pretty fine with leaving millions of Americans without health insurance and medical care. Donald J. Trump Jr. arranged the meeting? Trump's campaign manager attended? These are not rogue operators. Our president looks either like a traitor or like the dumbest guy alive.

Another too coincidental meeting between Trump representatives and relatives and the Kremlin's representatives. Anyone who believes this meeting was as described by Don Jr. is a candidate for admission to Trump University.

Preet Bharara convicts Russian arms and drug dealers, gets black-listed by Putin, then fired by Trump (after being asked to stay on.) Trump can't bring himself to admit our intelligence agencies are right that Russia hacked the election.
Trump is either the most useful idiot Putin ever recruited or he's an active player. All the undisclosed Russian meetings, the praise of Putin, the accommodations, the firings of people investigating Russian involvement and crimes, and the lies about Russian relationships - it's all way too much to be coincidence.

So, you think this one will stick to the wall, finally?

Yeah. Just like BO, Al Gore or Leo DiCaprio. But you can't blame them. They know it's a scam, so why should they worry about their "carbon footprint"?

It takes an imbecilic, beer-drenched, necrotic and decaying brain in the face of a global problem to hyperventilate about three people accounting for something in the order of some billionths of humanity's carbon footprint. The same kind of incapacity is the necessary requirement to fall for - or rather, willfully adopt - the "scam" narrative. Not to forget:

Which really means 'Why then should yaosa worry about his carbon footprint?'

Somehow I can't imagine a professional beer drunk maintaining both a car and a driver's license. I thought there's a reason he lives next door to a 7/11 convenience store.

Just expressing my increasing frustration about the utter meaninglessness of an expression like "Germany takes seriously..." As it stands, the tendency towards ever more high-powered, heavier vehicles continues unabated, as does the shameful hypocrisy of both a indolent population and a bought and paid-for political class in the pockets of a powerful car industry. It is no accident that the VW scandal did not break in Germany; rather it's a feature, the result of abject subservience.

You've quoted Ivan Illich before, and I tend to agree, at least have a lot of sympathy, with most I've read. It's just so that the right of way of the fastest still carries more weight than that which is being inflicted upon the rest. "Change takes time" is correct. Just as a reminder: In a few years "Limits of Growth" will be half a century old.

A new report from Bloomberg New Energy Finance, a research group, suggests that the price of plug-in cars is falling much faster than expected, spurred by cheaper batteries and aggressive policies promoting zero-emission vehicles in China and Europe.
Between 2025 and 2030, the group predicts, plug-in vehicles will become cost competitive with traditional petroleum-powered cars, even without subsidies, and even before taking fuel savings into account. Once that happens, mass adoption should quickly follow.

On Wednesday, Volvo announced that all new models starting in 2019 will come equipped with an electric engine, making it the first traditional automaker to commit to abandoning the combustion engine.

A couple of years ago I started telling people that I was born at just the right time.........I will see the disappearance of manual transmissions and exhaust notes.

And I will weep bitter tears.

What's with you, and the rest of your aerial circus, whinging all the time, Pussy Galore?

You've been conditioned to take your information in tiny bites apparently..

so it's OK to jet around to "carbon summits" ? (my words). can't you condemn it at least on rank hypocrisy?

What's hypocritical is to complain about those who might have influence in reducing our dependence on fossil fuels consuming some, while we dump almost 40 BILLION TONS of CO2 into the atmosphere every year. Well that and insisting it couldn't possibly affect the climate.

Oh...lol,
