I do not read what that asshole writes, I have him on IGNORE. But I read your post and your quote of what he said. At no point have I ever thought or wrote that the president of the United States is elected by popular vote. He dreams that shit up, which is one of the many reasons I have him on IGNORE.

I wish it were the case that the popular vote determines the presidency, but that does not seem to be in the cards.

Sure it has. But Trump doesn't have a consistent track record stretching over half-a-century of being wrong on virtually every foreign policy decision the US has made like Joke Biden does. In fact, I could do better than Biden just by randomly picking a side to vote on each time for those policies. I'd at least end up close to 50% right.
