What’s Your Philosophy of Life?

Bullshit. Of course there's self. I'm very aware of myself, my goals, my loves, my aspirations. Everyone with a soul has a sense of self - you know why? Because all our actions and decisions affect others we love and others in our community.

"no self". Geez man :(

We like to believe that there's a separate "self" of some sort that sits behind our eyes and exists outside of our flow of thought. There isn't. There is no extra part of our brain that is the "I" we all imagine exists outside of our flow of thought and feels our feelings, experiences our experiences, etc.

There is no thinker of thoughts. There are only thoughts.

Agree. This was argued for by David Hume.

Hume and other philosopher-types since then. There's a lot of disagreement because people really feel like there is a self in the drivers seat that's experiencing, thinking, making decisions, etc.

It is a Christian invention. Jesus as absolute subject identified with God. Ancient Greeks did not talk about the self and subjectivity.

It’s the art of thinking

Some find no use for such activity

We call them losers
Agreed on thinking. Still, not many philosophy jobs out there.

As it was, I had a job all lined up, and they didn't give a shit what my major was as long as I graduated.

College is for learning

People seem to have forgotten that fact

I went to a city college

I took all kinds of courses

I got an AA

I didn’t have the funds to go on

But I learned soooo much

I just kept taking courses

I had a different reason than most people did

I went to college because I wanted to learn

I have always been weird that way

Chris Hayes has a BA in philosophy from Brown. Makes sense. It is the only show on MSNBC that I like.
No chit chat. No wasted time. He stars off stating the topic, introduces a guest, then get immediately into the issue.

Your writing says you didn't get out of high school. If you went to college, you need a refund because you present with a literacy level of about grade 3.

You communicate on an elementary level with incorrect grammar, no punctuation, no structure.

You are the epitome of hate but also dumb as dirt and you cannot hide it.

I don’t fucking care about archaic rules that get in the way of communication

I am here to communicate

I do that very effectively

I have been doing this shit long enough to see the results

You seek confusion and lies

Fuck you

How is this effective? No one takes you seriously...it's impossible to do so... but you are pretty entertaining;) So carry on... I'm not sure what you're going to do in November though

In the pages of this very site is the proof of how many fucking times I have been proven correct in my assessments of the facts over a couple of decades

I can prove it

In fact those links in my quote link to some

All your side has Is attempts to lie about the past, future and present

The very pages of this site prove that

The internets destroys you

They are searchable and a forever record of the Republican Partys lies and failures

The younger people are

the more they understand this

You can’t win

Your whole gig is built on people forgetting what happened just a few years ago

Your fucked now

People can check and then remember

So lies and insults is all you have

You suck and now everyone knows you suck

They can check your suckability and can easily reference your massive suckingness

Your suck is now legendary

You will be crowned the monarch of suck though

So you do have that
