Fluke for Congress

you weren't born yet when Newt was fucking around on wife number two... who he was screwing while wife number one was in the hospital... and the one who he was being naughty with was his intern at the time... who is now wife number three? Or did you chose not to "see it".

I don't recall any Republicans suggesting that there is something about being a Democrat which lends itself to that sort of behavior from which Republicans are - supposedly - immune, or getting all holier-than-thou about sexual misdeeds on the part of Democrats, Commander.

Do you?

Her sob story....

The House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee convened a meeting to invite Fluke to speak. She put forward reasons why Georgetown University should be compelled to offer health care that covers contraceptive drugs, in spite of the Catholic university's moral opposition to artificial birth control. She claimed that, during her time as a law student, birth control could cost in excess of $3,000. She also stated that 40% of Georgetown Law School's female population suffered financial hardship as a result of birth control not being covered by the student health insurance plan, and that the lack of contraception coverage in the university insurance plans would induce many low-income students to go without contraceptives. Fluke insisted that the women of Georgetown, other religious schools, and employees of religious institutions such as hospitals have endured "financial, emotional and medical burdens because of this lack of contraceptive coverage."

:crybaby:

If you need more than 12 a day, 365 days a year, you might be a slut.

I just think it is so funny when republicans get all holier-than-thou about sexual misdeeds on the part of democrats, and seem to suggest that there is something about being a democrat which lends itself to that sort of behavior from which republicans are - supposedly - immune.

Really dunce; is that what this is about?

Dumbass.

that's funny.

It is funny how you can read, but never comprehend shit.

Like Newt Gingrich fucking around on his wife - and former illicit mistress - with his intern.... all the while, righteously going after Clinton for fucking around with HIS intern.

Did anyone defend Newt’s behavior? Show me where.

So you are okay when a sitting married President has sex with his interns? I just want to see where we are setting this bar.

funny stuff.

It is funny how you fabricate your own version of the thread debates and then argue against them. It borders on retarded; but funny to watch nonetheless.

Now that Edwards has been exposed for what he did, you wont see Edwards get the kind of support from the Democratic party that Newt got from the Republicans.

What support was that counselor? This?

Gingrich Steps Down in Face of Rebellion

Rep. Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.), the charismatic soul of the Republican Revolution whose members turned on him after unexpected losses in Tuesday's election, announced yesterday he will quit as speaker of the House.

His stunning exit came only hours after longtime friend Rep. Bob Livingston (R-La.) told reporters he intended to challenge Gingrich when House Republicans meet Nov. 18 to pick their leaders for the 106th Congress.

Or was it this:

House Reprimands, Penalizes Speaker
By John E. Yang
Washington Post Staff Writer
Wednesday, January 22 1997; Page A01

The House voted overwhelmingly yesterday to reprimand House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) and order him to pay an unprecedented $300,000 penalty, the first time in the House's 208-year history it has disciplined a speaker for ethical wrongdoing.

The ethics case and its resolution leave Gingrich with little leeway for future personal controversies, House Republicans said. Exactly one month before yesterday's vote, Gingrich admitted that he brought discredit to the House and broke its rules by failing to ensure that financing for two projects would not violate federal tax law and by giving the House ethics committee false information.

I think that, if people believe the old adage about folks in glass houses not throwing stones, one would assume that those people would refrain from making big deals about sexual misdeeds when them themselves were guilty of those misdeeds. I guess you don't believe in that and find the hypocrisy of impeaching Clinton for actions surrounding him having an affair with an intern while the accuser himself was having an affair with an intern as nothing to bother with.

Did anyone say that, Commander - apart from you?
