Wait... that call wasn't 'perfect'?

One thing that will suck about Biden being more focused on moving forward than burying trump:

I really want to see everything that trump hid on that top secret server, that really wasn't top secret. It just exposed his crimes.

It would be nice for someone to edit the server.

Wrong. As designed, there is nothing in the ACA that should change networks. What doctors/insurers do has nothing to do with the law.

When selling the ACA in the early days, Obama was citing the proposed law. I kept all of my same network. I had more problems keeping a doctor before ACA, when different plans/networks made you find a provider from their list.


Some were more widespread than others.

So Obama could predict that 60% of the nation would refuse to set up an exchange, leaving some states with one or two insurers?

He's not alone. Like Sandy Hook, there are still people who believe that these events were faked. I know at least one Internet forum poster who claims to have been a teacher who has posted that both events were really exaggerated, and the students used as pawns, and who has posted spurious RW links to "prove" it. You could just twirl your finger around your temple at that in a cuckoo way. But then they double down on the claims and personal attacks against the surviving and activist students.

Yes. It's called research. The Democrats either didn't do their homework or they were very mistaken. They didn't look before leaping.

Obama was underqualified for the job and relied heavily on Pelosi. Even though Pelosi should have known, Obama probably didn't know how much of an obstacle the Republicans would prove to be. He ended up focusing too much energy on health care and not enough the economic recovery. The Democrats blew all of their political capital in 2009. A violation of the "pick your battles" rule.

That doesn't make Obama bad. It's just a rookie mistake. Even my hero Reagan made several; PATCO, the Moral Majority and AIDS, just to name a few.

Sickening. I can see the normal political delusions:

Trickle down works

Tax cuts mean more revenue.

But to lie about something so heinous is sickening.

We remember history a little differently. Stimulus 1 stopped the bleeding. Every Republican railed against it, but took money with both hands out. Most Red state governors didn't use it to create/save jobs.

Then House Republicans refused to release any more Stimulus money, while criticizing the 'slow' recovery.

I'll grant you that Obama refused to accept that Republicans would actively work to destroy the nation, rather than accept their own pet wish lists handed to them on a silver platter.

Over and over and over again. In that sense, he was naive. Not unlike Charlie Brown. Sure...he should have seen the signs, as Republicans repeatedly refused to come to the table over the months that healthcare was being debated.

I'd have to read up on it more, but my recollection is that Obama spent too much energy on healthcare and not enough on the economy. Sure, some stuff got done, but it was an uphill battle at almost every turn since the Democrats had already blown their wad. It caused problems.

Again, it takes two to tango and I hold the Republicans responsible for their mistakes too. In 2009, the economy should have been a priority then healthcare.

Add to this that the healthcare solution was flawed, mostly due, IMO, to the frickin' insurance companies. Another fact the Democrats should have realized ahead of time.
