You and I both know she *can* define a woman but chose not to, because she decided not to rise to the bait. Did you not listen to her answer? Blackburn was only entering RW grievances into the hearings: CRT, transgender rights, the liberal media, court packing and abortion. Her questions had nothing to do with Jackson's record.
At least one Tennessee Rep., Gloria Johnson, spoke the truth about Blackburn: "[she] excels at ignorance, TN would like to apologize to the nation for this one."
I thought I clued folks in that I was pretty sure she knows the answer she's pretending she didn't give. Folks are reasonably sure she'll be a liberal voice on the SCOTUS, a reliable liberal voice replacing a reliable liberal voice. I don't even find it particularly controversial. I just love the verbal gymnastics they go through to pretend that there is some mystery as to how they'll respond once a Title 9 case appears, or (conversely, if she were a conservative) how they might rule on an abortion question...
