So what? The grand jury process is one-sided in favor of the prosecutor. That's true everywhere in the US.There was evidence presented to a grand jury they voted that evidence was enough to charge Trump with breaking the law.
A court jury heard the same evidence and found him guilty.
Apparently the evidence was enough to put him in jail for breaking the law.
The judge ruled against the defense presenting expert witnesses, and then in jury instructions violated New York rules of court while ignoring the law to allow jurors to decide on nothing but their opinion that Trump had committed some unnamed, previous felony--for which he was never tried or convicted as required by law--and find him guilty.
Apparently, the prosecutor who campaigned on getting Trump, and judge didn't care about the legalities just getting a conviction.
