On the other hand we are now seeing over and over Trump claiming that he has laid on massive tariffs/sanctions, but when one actually looks at the order there are so many exemptions that it is not much of anything. In Brazil about the only thing that got the tax is coffee.

Really that simple, eh? How much do you think labor workers will expect vs what offshore nations pay their workers? I get the notion of making essential goods right here in America, I get that....but two things will happen....first off, immigrants will get first dibs on hiring, bc business will do anything to cut costs in labor and second, its gonna take years for these jobs to be fully vested in this country, because even the smallest of a product is made over there, such as the minerals needed to produce something as simple as a button or a zipper....be smart, you fool....we're gonna rule the day, this man came into our lives AGAIN.
