To me its pretty simple. Its what the forum owner wants. Period,.... end of story. If people do not like the rule or cannot abide by the rule they are free to build their own forum and leave this one. Simple as that.

/shrugs.....no.....it would take an incredibly dense person to not be aware of rule 12b.......not to mention a person who didn't bother reading the rules even though he's been here for six years......

I noticed that is some cases it took a LONG time for some posters to be banned DESPITE numerous violations and just a continuous vile presence here.

It is what it is. Compared to other sites, this one isn't nearly as bad. I was banned by one site while those who favored the views of the monitors and owners/creators of the site ran rampant over the "rules" with impunity.

I think most of it is trolling. For whatever reason we have 12b it is what it is.

Nordberg just got banned for 12b (again). Is Nordberg a pedo? No, at least I don't think so. I didn't read the post that got him banned but I'm willing to guess that someone introduced the subject and Nordberg responded...and here's the psychology you asked for...Nordberg responded in kind, and got banned (again) for responding to a troll.

I don't wanna see conversation about child porn period but it's pretty obvious that this rule is being abused. People get riled up and in the heat of the moment try to smack the troll and end up getting banned. I have to admit 6 months without Nordberg is not a bad thing but I seriously doubt he deserved it, maybe banning for fishing for 12b violations might be a refreshing change.
