:) Just a fun discussion, though....I do think the more modern version of the croissant was French, but...do try a cronut if you haven't yet...I do think that "started " in France:)

It started in New York city,they had the creator on Regis and Kelly when they came out.
 
Did you try that recipe? Oh and the best apple without a shadow of a doubt for apple is a Bramley, can you get those on the US?
Not yet....I'll but I plan on it;) Skirt steak is on the list....
I've not seen Bramley apples here, but I love Granny Smith...maybe the substitute here for them....
