Right, which Trump did 8 years ago.

It's not 2016 anymore, it's 2024 and almost every election since 2016 has been horrible for Trump and Conservatives.

Trump lost the House in 2018, he lost the Presidency in 2020, he lost the Senate in 2021. He cost the Republicans a bigger majority in 2022 (and now that majority is...1 seat. That's right...1 seat.). He's cost the Republicans in every special election...even in states like Kansas and Ohio.

He also lost allies in AZ, WI, and MI...three states he absolutely needs if he wants to win. But the GOP is not in control of the electoral mechanisms of those states.

Let's say the Communists do replace Quid Pro - do you think that will help your chances? And who would the party replace him with? Certainly not Kamala Harris. She's less popular than even Biden? Newsom? The party is showing signs of getting skittish, but changing donkeys when the convention is about to start might hurt you more than it helps.
