Got texts from people, that they weren't damaged, but the news still sounds bad. They have a boil water notice placed on the areas, and National Guard is being called in. My sister was in Vegas though, which was probably for the best since a church about 8 miles south of her was destroyed. Some news is reporting it looks like a war zone in areas.

Terrible! And you have no warning is what makes it so bad. At least with hurricanes, we have a week to prepare.....

We live in a trailer!
But even when I lived in a house,I wouldn't.
In 1965 on Palm Sunday we had a terrible storm in Toledo.
I got home late,my family was already in the basement.
They spent the night down there,I went to bed,and slept thru it.

I was just looking at the photos from the area. One man was killed too. I'm glad your family is okay!

Our friends in Alabama who had damage from that horrible tornado outbreak last month got a new storm shelter! Everyone kicked in to buy it, have it transported there, and then volunteers dug the hole that it goes into. There is enough room in it for their neighbors too. Friends live in a mobile; the neighbors who still have houses left have a combination of trailers and stick-built, but no basements.

I watched Bohemian Rhapsody last week. It was good, but not one of the greatest.

I loved it! An amazing story.

Looking forward to seeing "Rocketman" -- the story of Elton John-- and "Ma" --a horror flick-- next week.

Apparently my cousin Danny, was a few miles away from the Brookville High School, when the roof went bye bye. Mom's glad she moved up to Michigan, but it's stuff like this that makes her worry.

In other news, I finally saw the doctor. They want to check me out for ulcerative colitis, and one other thing I forgot. I'm just glad they're going to sedate me.

We saw some of the damage and video on the news tonight. Incredible. It's amazing that more ppl weren't killed/injured. Glad your family is okay.
