Because the lesser of two evils is still evil...

Ya you solved it. You are just stupid.

Your entire defense is to say 'yes he shot at you but he missed and you survived so there is no need for us to stop him shooting at you again'.

There is no hyperbole in that comparison. Your entire argument is 'ya he failed' as if that means he must fail again the next time.
Amazing Trump supporters still playing naive.

What was his "shot"?

Two points define a line. All you have to do is look at history, look at the present and draw a line to see the future.

Putin in Ukraine is an anomaly. A 20th century throwback. The future of world conquest is in finance and simply buying out one's enemies.
A interesting theory that leaves out one crucial element .... human nature.

All monetary systems throughout history leave ample room for corruption.

People hold grudges, want retribution instead of justice. Also, things we learned in kindergarten like learning to share and be nice to each other are lost on most adults.

And remember, money is a concept .... NOT a reality. Lack of food or water throws money out the window in favor of the barter system. Just saying.

If his best quality is that he's gay, then he isn't much of a candidate for anything. That'd be like dead last on my list of reasons to vote for someone--their sexual proclivity. If the best you can do as a political candidate is tell the world what you do in bed, then you aren't worth voting for.
Yet, you rail against Rachel Levine, the trans assistant secretary of health, not because of her qualifications, but merely because she’s trans.

Agreed on human nature, but as long as the system keeps improving, human nature wants it to keep going.

Ahh, but the "system" of money is finite for all economic systems. Especially in capitalism, because not everyone in a society has "capital", and you eventually run out of things to capitalize. What you want and what you can actually do are two wholly different things. And there are also the human components I previously mentioned. Just saying.

In a limited resource economy, you are right. In an unlimited resource economy, then where? What happens when renewable energy like fusion is achieved? Along with the transmutation of materials? What will people compete over?

EO's are restricted, as Biden found out.

If I recall correctly, Trump had a majority in the house and senate for his first two years in office. Did anything happen that concerned you?

The Republicans in Congress also have to worry about their futures. Despite some of the insanity we hear from the right and left, Congress hasn't passed anything truly terrible, that I can think of, since Obamacare.
He had people to restrain him last time. He will have only “yes” men this time and as you have observed, he has gone crazy with the idea of revenge on everyone he perceive to be his enemy even talking about jailing Jill Biden.

Trump runs his mouth. That's what he does. Remember he was going to lock up Hillary if he was elected in 2016?

Nope. He organized an event as politicians do all the time. He never told them to riot. He never told them to break into the capitol.
You keep saying this.

Let us clear this up.

Is no prosecution in our legal system possible unless a verified statement is made by the person that he is about to commit a crime?

This is who I'll be voting for in November.

Meet Chase Oliver, the youthful US presidential candidate

Some voters in November may see a less familiar option on their presidential ballot when in the polling booth this November: Chase Oliver.

Mr Oliver is this year's presidential nominee for the Libertarian Party, a political party that typically wins around one per cent of the national vote and is known for promoting civil liberties and small government.

At 38 (just three years above the constitutional threshold to be a presidential candidate), Mr Oliver is by far the youngest contender in this year’s field.

He is also the only openly gay candidate, which he says he hopes serves as an example to aspiring LGBT politicians.

That's a vote for Trump

Crimes are committed in a number of ways. Actually committing a crime, like bank robbery, is one way to commit a crime. Planning to commit a crime can also be a crime. Coordinating with/helping others to commit a crime can also be a crime. Trump did none of those. He did not tell anyone to commit a crime. He did not commit a crime, rioting on January 6th, either.

If I am wrong, you should be able to articulate what he did that was a crime.
