BREAKING: Trump says he’s going to overturn the 14th Amendment with an executive order.

No Amendment is needed. Take him to court. Looking forward to the challenge of birthright citizenship with the current Supreme Court.

You sure you want the 14th amendment gutted just because you're scared of brown people? You know the 14th covers quite a lot of very important stuff, right?

Because they wanted to exclude children of certain Indians and Diplomats

You also need to understand that the Civil war had just been fought over the question of if the Union had jurisdiction over the Southern States so they wanted to emphasize that citizenship was related to Jurisdiction, and wanted to force the Southern States to ratify that concept.
So the children born here aren't citizens, but the children of illegals are. You're lying and making shit up.

They were refused because of who they desired a marriage with, even though it harmed no one.
"Desire" is irrelevant. Massachusetts was the first state to pass this shit based largely on the fact that their marriage laws didn't define marriage as between a man and a woman. It also didn't say the two parties must "desire" one another to be married. Two straight men or two straight women were never allowed to be married. Gays were treated just the same as normal people..

Because of leftist idiots.

Ahhhhh, so marriage laws differ across states because of "leftist idiots"?

Wow. Your reasoning is so AMAZING to behold. SO smart. SO insightful. It's like having all the great minds in geopolitics and legislative theory in one poster!

Woah.....

All persons born here and subject to the jurisdiction of the USA are citizens
Currently the only people I can think of born here but not subject to our jurisdiction are those born in embassies or to diplomats.

If the 14th Amendment says everyone born here by parents from other countries is automatically a citizen, why didn't the authors of the Amendment simply say that without adding..."and under the jurisdiction thereof".
How many times do you need this answered? How incapable of learning are you?
Who is under US jurisdiction and who is not? Can you tell us what you learned after it was explained to you?
If you can't repeat back what you are told then you truly are incapable of learning.

Here is a court case from 1812 which states that the only exemptions to US jurisdiction in US territory are foreign sovereigns, foreign ministers and foreign troops which the US agrees to allow to enter.

You will need to Amend the Constitution if you want to end birthright citizenship
