Creationist child abusers close doors

I think it is entirely likely or even highly likely that there were floods on the earth and that those floods would have wiped out some of the animals but far from all. This could be consistent with PMP's beliefs.

Yeah, but no world wide flood. It's also doubtful that there were any floods that could have wiped out all of humanity, any one well represented species, much less all the species within a certain location.

It's nothing more than a myth. I think they likely borrowed from the Epic of Gilgamesh.

PMP is reconciling it to make it not a myth. All possibilities are now on the table. It appears that's where the debate has gone.

Stick with facts that are true facts. Some fish would live in diluted salt water. Some salt water species can live in fresh water. Some plant life would have survived and would have diversified into new species. Let's not try to throw out science in order to argue against creation.

The facts are that fish and plant populations would have been devastated. Little would have survived.

How is he reconciling it to make it not a myth? He won't even narrow the date of this supposed event within tens of thousands of years. Were all the species on the ark, one of each kind or were the animals not even relevant as he now seems to be claiming. PMP is just trolling and trying to promote his fairy tales.

Exactly, the fossils do not fit your story. The diversity in "cat kind" occurred long before any flood that could have involved homo sapiens or any member of the homo genus. This has been pointed out to you multiple times.
were there saber tooth tigers on the ark?......

You are attempting to drop context. Simple gene manipulation by humans is not a miracle. Gene manipulation that would account for the diversity of cat species in a single generation by some sort of disembodied super ghost would certainly be some sort of miracle.

then be specific.....gene manipulation itself is not the problem......you just don't believe in ghosts.....since I believe in an Intelligent Designer capable of creating genes, believing he could make them do what he wants is not that much of a miracle......

Wow, besides a bad cut and paste job, what is this?

original Hebrew text and literal translation thereof......literally the ark had a pair of animals "for the species of him"......interesting choice of words under the circumstances of this debate, isn't it........also wasn't able to complete it because my appointment showed up, but the Hebrew word used in verse 17 translated as "flesh" isn't the same word used to describe the animals on the ark, but is the same word used earlier in chapter 6 when talking about the disobedient humans.....

, he is a Spiritual being, according to most other Christian religions, except yours, whatever that is.

???....lol.....considering the fact that is exactly what I'm arguing he is instead of a living creature you should be saying except yours, not except mine......YOU'RE the one claiming he has a living body......

The thread topic was communicated in the initial post. I compared the school operators to you on page 26 after many pages of your trolling.

Quit deluding yourself. It was not about you. You are not the persecuted messiah. You are just some dumbass troll.

you stated what the purpose of the thread was......its not my fault you finally admitted it.....

In John, don't recall the chapter and verse Jesus claims, "God is Spirit". Genesis also claims we were made in the image of God.

God according to most Christians exists, has life, is a living Spirit, Mormons believe he is a physical being, immortal.

you would have to ask a Mormon about that.....it's not what anyone I have ever heard states......certainly it is not the understanding of Christianity that he is a physical being and you can continue to pretend that so long as you don't expect anyone to agree with you.....

I was specific. You dropped the context of my statement in order to create a strawman.

It is a miracle (an unusual or wonderful event that is believed to be caused by the power of God) according to the Bible or any rational use of the word. In your crazed cult, maybe it is not. It's a big one too, one that one would expect to be referenced in the Bible.

It's your fairy tale. So you tell me, were saber tooth tigers on the ark? How does your story fit with the data?

From what I can gather from your vague bullshit there was one feline species taken on the ark, the flood killed all the rest and then God used some magic to recreate them all in a couple generations and no one thought to mention it. Yeah, that all sounds very reasonable.

No, I don't want you to believe anything. I'm only familiar with the story from the bible which does suggest that everything was wiped out except fish. I think it's fair to say that lots of smaller lifeforms which could survive on the higher ground would have survived. Bacteria certainly.

can't see how it effects the theology, but that's fine with me......whatever you want to believe.....
