not at all.....it came up originally because someone claimed there wouldn't have been room on the ark for all the animals they would have needed to bring......I merely pointed out they wouldn't have needed all 37,000 varieties of beetle and the discussion has continued from there....

I have only ever approached these discussions for the purpose of getting folks to realize their assumptions are only assumptions......I could care less what Baxter believes as long as he recognizes it IS a belief and not a proven scientific fact.......

True enough that a few species can evolve into many. Can you at least supply us with a guess on the timeframe in order to make that possible. It obviously can't be accomplished over 10,000 years. Could you be thinking in billions of years?

You're not accomplishing anything with the trolling charge. If you think that's all it is then you should just abandon the debate. From my understanding of the charge of 'trolling', it's the worst insult you could offer. Are you convinced that's all it is?

That sure does seem to be his motive. I would be less direct and call Christianity an undesirable in my opinion, due to the harm it does to children. Also the harm it's doing to your country.

I think that believers are mostly good people in spirit but sadly very misinformed with beliefs they will never be capable of escaping from.

There is no mention of any further acts by God in replanting the earth with life. That part of the story is a complete fabrication by you. Now, if the flood was not worldwide then there is no point in going down that road again. So why bother?

Why is there no mention of these miraculous acts to replant the earth? Because the authors were ignorant of the logistical problems in their story and so was their audience. The fact that a modern person such as you believes this stuff says a lot about the degree of your delusions.

what is possible with a being so conversant with DNA that he invented it.....capable of changing gene structure within the womb to produce exactly the result he wants?........could a single feline have produced lions and tigers and panthers in the same litter if he chose?.......as I said, that which is not impossible is possible.....

it would not have been necessary, obviously.....Baxter has pegged the dispersal of humanity around 60,000 years ago, so he has had 60,000 years to work with instead of a single generation......

is replanting the earth that big a deal to a guy who created time?........the Horsehead Nebula?.......created DNA in the first place?.....if you don't believe Genesis 1:1 would a more detailed Genesis 7 do the trick for you?......
