Death by Corona Explodes to 61!

That is nothing. More people died in 2018 than in 2020. You are a fool.

Bless you my child

False.

The CDC's database which is based on death certificates filed in each state and sent to them currently shows more people dying in 2020 than died in all of 2018. That is with the death certificates not being complete for the last 10 weeks of 2020.

So does your God like it when you lie or is your god as false as you are?

I'll wait for the final report. My first guess is high density population areas are going to have different problems and solutions than low density areas. I live in a very low density area.

you dodged the question about the democrat governors.

I support State's Rights. You?

I do as well, therefore you have to blame the governors for corona response not the federal, and again, while supporting states rights, it was criminal for these shitbag governors to put covid patients into nursing homes. do you disagree?

Thanks for confessing you have something to hide.

Given all your military regalia in your signature, I figured you to be a military man like me, I for one make sure I have the honor and integrity not to lie about people. perhaps you should try to hold that standard as well. you make us look bad otherwise. thanks!

Yes a small number you’re right but you fail to insert population growth my son

Bless you my child

No, my son. You are an idiot.

First of all there were more deaths in 2019 than in 2018.

https://wonder.cdc.gov/controller/datarequest/D76;jsessionid=ADC429CE0F366B8B4A2494C4727D

Year - deaths --- death/100,000
2018 - 2,839,205 -- 867.8
2019 - 2,854,838 -- 869.7
https://wonder.cdc.gov/controller/datarequest/D76;jsessionid=ADC429CE0F366B8B4A2494C4727D

But then when we get to 2020

Current deaths recorded according to CDC are:
3,073,009
https://data.cdc.gov/NCHS/Weekly-Counts-of-Deaths-by-State-and-Select-Causes/muzy-jte6/data

So let's see if your idiotic statements can be true.

The population in 2018 was 327,167,434
The population in 2019 was 328,239,523

That is an increase of only about 1,072,000 people in one year.
In order for the deaths/100,000 to stay at the level of 2019, the population in 2020 would need to be 353,341,200. Are you seriously suggesting that there were 28,000,000 births in the US in 2020.
If we assume 335,000,000 population in 2020 we have a death/100,000 rate of 917.3

let me repeat this for you in bold letter so your "god" can see how much of a liar you are.

year -- deaths
2018 - 2,839,205
2019 - 2,854,838
2020 - 3,073,009 (As of Dec 15)
(with data not complete for 10 weeks)

Final results -
More deaths in 2020 than in 2018 or 2019.
Death rate per 100,000 higher in 2020 than in 2018 or 2019.

Your God sees you are a liar and/or a fool.

No, I didn't. I'm not asinine to prejudge all the actions done by 1 President, 1 Congress and 50 States. All I can do at the moment is look at results. One result is the death rate of each state. Just guessing, but a good reason is because they don't have enough assets to handle the scale of the problem. It's a ratio of population vs. medical accessibility. The entire point of flattening the curve, a point that eludes a lot of stupid people, is precisely to avoid exceeding medical capacity. Ergo, before I condemn any governors, Democrat or Republican, I'd like to see more data on why they suffered so many casualties. You are whining about the retirement homes. Where else do you think they should have put all of these people? In tents? In the street?

You are overlooking the main point of State's Rights. Where is it my place, as a Texan, to tell any Yankee governor or state what to do? Exactly the same place they have in telling my governor, me or my fellow Texans what to do. Where are you from? How did your state handle it? What did they do that was great or less than optimal?

I'm retired Navy, still a Marine. I took the oath January 1975. Good, not many people respect honor and integrity. Do you believe sock puppets are dishonest? Only used by people who lack integrity?

Whining? really now?

So if your argument is that cuomo and murphy needed to put covid patients into nursing homes, please justify that position after I inform you now our hospitals never got overwhelmed.

And anyplace in the world would have been a better place, like perhaps the javits or the uss comfort (both unused), than nursing homes where the most likely to die from the wuhan live. you don't see that as fucking criminally negligently stupid?

I have no idea what point of mine you think this is arguing against.

I have never been a "Sock" anywhere. Now don't you also agree that "respect, honor and integrity" would be not to accuse a person with no evidence of being a sock? perhaps this forum sucks at flushing them out and has you all paranoid. but this is some dumb bullshit, I don't think helps the civil discourse.

Closer. Given that, to a person with a hammer, everything looks like a nail, I tend to see mental illness in everything that falls outside the parameters of normal human behavior.

IMO, it isn't sane to accept common sense medical precautions in a pandemic such as wear a mask, wash your hands often and maintain social distancing. Why would any sane person not accept these things?

Consider the convoluted logic and half-truths Darth uses in this post:Is that reasonable? Sane? Is he lying or just stupid? Mentally ill and no longer capable of reasonable decision making?

It's not correct, I'll give you that. Masks worn in health care settings are meant to be disposable. If he is wearing the same disposable mask over and over, or wearing a fabric mask w/o washing it each time, or pulling it down and exposing his nose, then he is doing it wrong. The mask does not become a "vector" other than maybe to someone else who finds a used one and puts it on. For someone who allegedly worked in health care, he seems unable to understand that the purpose of the mask is to protect your patient, as much as it is to protect you. When you go to the dentist, who wears the mask -- him or you?

What he is doing here is trolling, showing that he's not well-acquainted with infection control, and he's showing how desperate he is to provide back up to #COVID45 and his anti-mask stance. Sane or insane, I can't say. It definitely reeks of ignorance though.

He had two dogs, were they his victims? This will greatly upset some people if that is the case.

All I've heard is that he told the gal he gave his house to that he was going to take the dogs and go camping for a few weeks. I hope they weren't blown up too. :~(

Son, like DO, you don't understand that the masks are to protect your mother and friends, not you. Real men wear masks to protect their loved ones and friends. Cowards and idiots go to political rallies maskless.

How do you get a squirrel to like you? Act like a nut.

Cowards and idiots best describe average tRump supporters.

No, I do not. States rights is a race to the bottom. When Delaware and S Dakota removed banking regulations and usury laws, credit card companies and banks headquartered there and the whole country was subject to the lawlessness. We are all getting robbed by banks at a much worse rate than before.

TBD. Lying is easy on this forum as you just demonstrated in your previous posts.

No, it's not. It's democracy. Just not the authoritarian centralized politburo style of "democracy" you favor.

Supporting State's Rights doesn't mean states can't band together to prevent abuses to their citizens. What is the main purpose of the Federal government? National defense and foreign treaties. Nothing says states can't make mutually beneficial agreements with each other.

Please quote the lie.

Your quote above serves as an example of yours. Is there a reason your picking a fight here?
Take your pick. Looks to me like you're the one with something to prove. Why is that? Did I hit a sore spot asking if you'd been banned elsewhere so you came back here? Be honest. I've been banned. It's not a big fucking deal.

Where is the lie? you failed to show I lied, showing that you sir, have lied yet again. don't you have any integrity? Which of that is a lie and what is your evidence that it is a lie?

Why is such information so important to you? I haven't lied about shit, if you are an honorable "Marine" and "Retired navy" as you claim,. you'd probably not behave like you are with me.

Dude, why are you picking a fight? What is driving you here? Revenge? Sock puppet revenge? It's something. I don't know what but it's sparks my curiosity.

So far you've lied about your service. I strongly dislike Stolen Valor assholes, but since the vast majority of this forum are over 60 with many over 70, I forgive their feelings of weakness, loss and impending mortality. Many are alone in their room with a computer and a bunch of zombies at the community table.

Let me know when you grow a pair and want to come say to my face that I stole valor. We can do it over a beer at my VFW post you hump. I'm picking a fight with you? you came at me, picked a fight with me.

My offer stands, come run your mouth at me at my vfw post see how well that goes for you.

Or chalk it up to a big misunderstanding and lets start over.

your call, "hero" .

Interesting, I never thought about that whole scenario.

"State's rights" as used by RWers typically mean that they want each state to be able to decide against who and how much discrimination should be allowed. We can add to that your comments about banking and usury regulations.

Here is what happens when a state has a RW supermajority in its capitol. Years ago, Missouri voters passed a Proposition putting strict regulations on so-called puppy mills. The (R) legislature immediately eviscerated it and rendered it, if you'll pardon the pun, toothless. In 2016, voters in KC and STL voted to raise their cities' minimum wage. The (R) legislators once again destroyed that by passing a law that removes the power to set minimum wage by any entity but the state.

Reichwingers don't care what the voters want nor do they care about states' rights unless it benefits them. We can see the failure of a national plan during this pandemic. It doesn't do a lot of good if one state has mandates to protect the public while the one next door is anything goes.
