Does Winterborn = Solitary?

When did I say "certain", Solitary?

Yet another example from the king of straw man.

Strawman?

In the "New Toy" thread, in post #48 you said "You arrogantly claimed to have a knowledge of ballistics, yet you clearly don't, because a bullet that size would blow up a gun in your face. Try it and see.”.

And in post #50 you continued with "You best measure your groove diameter and your bullet OD, because if they're the same the gun will blow up on you. Guaranteed, Mr. Ballistics expert."

I would say both of those posts are a bit different from your "Probably" answer above.

I will accept your apology for accusing me of a strawman argument.

Your error here is not understanding that the advertised diameters and the actual, measured diameters appear to be different. Again, have you accurately measured them? :)

YOu are dancing to avoid having to admit you screwed up.

#428: “Probably.”
#430: “I haven't budged.”
#432: “When did I say "certain", Solitary?

And yet, after showing you where you were certain that the gun would blow up, you want to run to another argument and avoid having to eat crow.

From: http://www.chuckhawks.com/rifle_bullet_diameter.htm

".308" - .30 Carbine, .30-30, .300 Savage, .308 Winchester, .30-06, .300 Mag. (all)"

And here is a website that gives you all the data you need to admit you are wrong.

http://www.gunnersden.com/index.htm.308winchester.html

The bore groove diameter is .308 inches and the bullet diameter is .308 inches. None of that has anything to do with advertised diameters. They are the actual measurements of the bore and bullet.
