Qualifications are you have to be nominated by the president and approved by the senate. Except for the latest ones, the system has been reasonably good. Roberts, Gorsuch, and Thomas are terrible. The Repubs had to change the rules to get Gorsuck in.

Pascal is silly. You cannot just decide to believe in god.If you can think logically ,you know belief in god is absurd. Then, which god? there are thousands of them in religions across the globe.Choose the wrong one and you lose.

Pascal's Wager is bunk and has more flaws than Donald Trump (if that's possible). I do love to kick Christian butt on his absurd premise, however.

The bar association is rating many of Trumps choices as unqualified. Then during questioning, they are proving it. The bar has been rating candidates for seats for a very long time. They judge the qualifications only. One of Trumps picks has never tried a case of any kind. He could not answer simple legal questions. The Truth Deflector will pretend it was a good choice. Not cap[able of learning or honest evaluation.
 
If they are racist, homophobic, greedy and Christian, they are good enough for the right.

Makes you wonder if any of them really passed the bar.

No they changed it to 51 votes. Most politicians recognize the power of the Supremes and accepted a higher level. It is a powerful lifetime position. However Trump wanted his choice in ,so he instructed McConnell lower the bar.. Of course he did.
 
The theory is that allows them to be free of political and financial pressures. They do not have to run again and do not have to raise money. So Trump is carefully selecting people who owe him. He does not want an independent judiciary. He wants all the power to himself. Trump is even giving a list of banned words to the CDC. WTF.

Genius post. Of course we have to put up with trump putting unqualified people on district courts. Hell. his cabinet is full of unqualified incompetent millionaires.. But we have 3 more years of the Trump Insane Clown Policy. We are aware of that. Mueller will take a while before he guts Trump, assuming he does.

We do not have to get over anything. we can fight every move by contacting our represenatives .

I don't think they are rating "many" unqualified. It is 2 out of 51.
