Im certainly not targeting her. What I hear is a cry for help from a very depressed girl. I sympathize with her.
I googled her parents and see that she needs to be placed in child protection services. That would be the first step. Then find a loving, supportive foster home.
She may not even need cognitive therapy. Sometimes a change in environment works wonders.
I suggest you read Heidi by Johanna Spyri. Excellent novel.

They are not holding her back. You seem to think she has been directed to do this. No. I don't get that at all. This is all her idea. She has been encouraged by her parents to follow her calling. Her loving parents have not held her back or tried to live her life for her.

Well adjusted kids are not clinically depressed. In addition she is delusional. "I want you to act as if our house is on fire. Because it is." No it's not, therefore I will not act as if my house is on fire.

3. I did not say that her parents are exploiting her. I noted that adults use children in that manner because criticizing them makes one appear monstrous.

There are parents here Still trying to justify absences for the days their children miss school due to the defeat of Hillary and the resulting Trump presidency....they are simply too distraught, depressed, and devastated to leave home for periods of time....what will these poor kids be like by the time they're 8?
