Gun question.

People that want to talk accurately about guns make a difference between magazines and clips. It is like calling a AR 15 an assault rifle when it is not. The other day I heard the semi auto pistol that the Chinese guy shot up the Chinese dance studio called an assault pistol. WTF? is that?

Come on Express!

You know that was an assault weapon!

The velocity causes a shock wave in the body that destroys tissue. Same sized bullets moving at slower speeds don't do as much damage.

What would an HCQ pill shot out of a .44 caliber black powder pistol into someone's face do?

Now you know what it feels like to hear scientific illiterates talk about the COVID Vaccine, Climate Change or Evolution. It's hard to listen to people pontificate while knowing so little about the topic isn't it?

Yes it does and that is the reason talking to liberals is so annoying. They in general know little about what they talk about.

Some of those nutty squirrels deserve it.

Agreed.

My dad was a lifelong hunter and, yes, hunted squirrels a lot as well. When he retired he started feeding the squirrels around the house and I knew he was losing it when he started naming all of them. I'd come home to visit and dad would regale me with stories of these squirrels.

Retirement isn't for everyone. He went back to work part time soon thereafter.

He did commit assault with it  Did Paul Pelosi get attacked with an assault hammer? And can you open carry assault hammers in San Francisco? And is a tack hammer considered a small caliber assault hammer. So many questions

If it is large game, I always just prefer me old British 303. I never put a scope on it. The peep site works great for me!

I've had it since I was a teen!

These guys that go after the Prairie Dog towns with the 222's and butcher them just for funzies and target practice just slay me!

Now for Deer hunting- 222's are great- Just don't tear up the meat.

I wish I did have a 222 and a 20 guage over and under.

That way I could hunt turkey and deer at the same time.

I have one of those, an SMLE No 1 Mk III made in 1918, not one of those crappy ones made during WW 2. Great rifle with 180 grain bullets (I prefer those to the more common 170's)

Here in AZ, the .222 is great for rabbit, coyote, and even javelina.

Maybe he was luring them in case he needed to eat them.

I have a Mosin Negant Russian rifle made in 1935. My brother and I were shooting it at a metal target deign to take a 306 round. It blew the target in half :whoa::laugh: Its fun to shoot but kicks like a mule.

Did you know those were designed from rifles Hiram Berdan (a famous sharpshooter among other things who formed the US Sharpshooter regiments during the US Civil War) designed and sold to the Czars in Russia to equip their military?
