Gun question.

Did you know those were designed from rifles Hiram Berdan (a famous sharpshooter among other things who formed the US Sharpshooter regiments during the US Civil War) designed and sold to the Czars in Russia to equip their military?
They also made some of them in the US and Russia never paid for them. Plus the most prolific sniper ever used a open sight Mosin Negant and he was killing Russians. (Simo Häyhä tallied 505 kills in 100 days)

He did commit assault with it  Did Paul Pelosi get attacked with an assault hammer? And can you open carry assault hammers in San Francisco? And is a tack hammer considered a small caliber assault hammer. So many questions

Is fertilizer an assault weapon! NO!

But can you turn it into a bomb and use it to kill multiple people? FUCK YES!

Should we regulate and record it's sales? Yes!

Just because you do not use your assault weapons to shoot masses of people- does not mean others will not- and does not mean they are not assault weapons.

Those kind of things are left up to the ATF to define by using standards, as they should.

May I ask, DO you argue with City Hall a lot?

And, do you have any more Straw Dog questions that I may answer for you?

If it is large game, I always just prefer me old British 303. I never put a scope on it. The peep site works great for me!

I've had it since I was a teen!

These guys that go after the Prairie Dog towns with the 222's and butcher them just for funzies and target practice just slay me!

Now for Deer hunting- 222's are great- Just don't tear up the meat.

I wish I did have a 222 and a 20 guage over and under.

That way I could hunt turkey and deer at the same time.

You don't own any guns. You don't even understand anything about them. Stop making shit up, lizard.

You called them wrong then. And clips are something a woman wears in their hair. M-16 are small caliber magazine fed rifles. Part of the reason for .223 ammo was for it to be lighter so more rounds could be carried for the same weight of previous military rifle ammo.

The M1 Garand like used in WWll is a 8 shot clip fed rifle.

The thing that makes the AR 15 lethal is the velocity of the round. Most hunting rifles also have high velocity rounds.

The 30-06 cartridge is a popular hunting round the 30-06 launches 110-220 grain bullets with muzzle velocities between 3400 fps and 2400 fps, respectively.

The .223 typically has a 55 grain bullet and a muzzle velocity of around 3200 FPS so about the same speed and half the weight of a 30-06 round.

Why is getting killed by a .223 any more lethal than getting killed by a .22?

Is a nail gun considered an semi automatic?

Because with a .223 you die deader than with .22 by .003 deaths.

Responding to psychos isn't helping the pro-gun debate, Terry.

The fact remains, a hit in the chest by a .223 is more likely to kill than a hit by a .22. At longer range, too. Only idiots and liars would argue differently.

OTOH, a hit by a 7.62X39mm is more likely to put down a domestic terrorist in the street than the smaller, more pussified 5.56mm.

I went to high school with an asshole that later on beat his wife. Her dad and brother beat his ass at his house then threw him in a closet. Unfortunately for them he stored his loaded semiautomatic 22 rifle in that closet. He shot them both dead.
