Seriously, why not travel in the travel lane? That won't restrict your freedom of movement at all. Why force others to pass you on the right, and worse, make them slow down if there's a slow driver or truck in the travel lane?

Drivers who want to speed all the time and want exclusive rights to the left lane to do so, do not deserve any courtesy..
I never travel in the left lane UNLESS I am doing exactly the speed limit. If you want to pass me, you are a criminal.

On most interstates there is the truck lane and the left lane. Trucks tear up the roads , especially in the mountains.
Why should I beat up my car driving on potholes and cracked pavement just so you can speed by me in the smooth left lane?
You can drive behind me at the speed limit or pass me in the beat up truck lane as you break the law.

That is a desperate attempt to save face. Everything discussed in this thread is a civil infraction. That certainly includes simple speeding or passing you on the right, or left for that matter.
