I’d be curious to hear from my wife her version of the time she came home from the post office, went into the fridge, had trouble opening a drawer, forced it out breaking it then threw it at me with all the contents in it breaking a jar of mayonnaise. No argument. No words said other than me saying “I can’t believe what I’m seeing .” Her reply was “You started it.”
After I left and took about a two hour walk contemplating any rational reason to not move out I return and she’s sweet as candy as if nothing happened.
I suspect she realized she went too far and that’s her only way she can apologize without verbally doing so.

No way I go to a marriage counselor. Every couple I know that has been to one either got divorced or their marriage is still as shitty if not worse than before.
