Is the Bible Literally True? No, of Course Not!

It's mostly American Christians who go off to fight all these for-profit Wall Street wars. They are loyal to this country no matter what, yet for some reason the FBI and DHS sees them as a threat to the establishment and is targeting them for prosecution. Can you explain why?

What are you on about? You seem to be all over the place.

Continued repetition of the same erroneous claims from your mind masters...
I didn't change any words.
Yes you did (and are still continuing to do so).

In one account, Jesus tells his disciples where to prepare the Passover meal, they eat it together, he's arrested and dies the next day.
Nope, this is WRONG. He dies on the very same day as the prior events that you listed. All those events occur on the very same day. I've provided you with the timeline of events multiple times now.

In the other account, he is dead on the day before - the day of preparation.
WRONG again. There is no "dead on the day before". The 'day of preparation' IS the 14th of Nisan, the VERY SAME DAY. Both gospel accounts are describing the very same day, the 14th of Nisan.

This is what happens when you outsource your thinking to mind masters who are complete and utter MORONS on this subject (such as Bart Ehrmann) instead of simply reading through (and comprehending) the Bible for yourself.

Per Exodus 12 (and mentioned elsewhere in the Bible as well), the slaughtering of the Passover lamb always occurs on the 14th of Nisan ("at evening", so before sunset, still on the 14th of Nisan, just before the beginning of the 15th of Nisan). The "day of preparation", "day of preparation of Passover", and "when it was customary to sacrifice the Passover lamb" language that is being used in both the Mark and John accounts is referencing THIS VERY SAME SPECIFIC DAY (the 14th of Nisan).

Read the Bible for yourself and find out. Read Exodus 12, then compare what is said there against what is ACTUALLY said in the Mark and John verses that you keep misquoting.

Stop letting Bart Ehrmann do your thinking for you. He is a MORON on this subject matter.

271 posts latter and no one still has answered my question if Jonah really did live inside that whale for three days

It's irrelevant if he did or didn't. Let's say he did. So what? Let's say he didnt? Why does it matter? What's the message of the story of Jonah?

Of course not. Jonah lived inside a great fish.

Jonah 1:
15 So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging.
16 Then the men feared the Lord exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the Lord, and made vows.
17 Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

Don't claim that no one ever answered your question.

Obviously you are a sock of someone with poor grammar.

Of course I'll support my claim. You should have written "Of whom am I a sock?"

... as opposed to a useful piece? You don't like making any sort of substantive point, do you?

Hey, e'erbody! Looky at Into the Night/gfm/IBDamann posting yet more shit under one of their MANY socks. Who knows why? Obviously a frustrated house-bound loser.

Sad, really.

Hey, e'erbody! Just keep ignoring Obtenebrator's posts. There is still nothing to see here. Sad, really.

Aesop provided us with a lot of lessons on morality, too. At least we recognize those as fairy tales rather than take them literally.
