It's time to move to the popular vote deciding elections

Trump and his trumpanzees purposely blocked immigration reform so he could run on it,
and you, Libby, appear too fucking stupid to understand it.

How do you remember to breathe?
'Immigration Reform' was simply a bill to try to legalize inviting an invasion of the United States by Biden. Biden and Kamala committed an act of treason.

It's time for Red States to secede from the Union. It's just not working for us anymore.

Without Blue State support, Red States standard of living would collapse. The long term would have Red States get a standard of living like Brazil. So picture what you have now, and get rid of 75% of it. Red States still have farming, but Brazil also has farming.

The short term is uglier. Most corporate ownership goes through Blue States. Of course Red States could confiscate all that property, but the amount of property that would be confiscated in return would be greater. And it would cut Red States out of the international markets. They could do some trading with Cuba and Iran, but is that really profitable?

Yes, capital markets would crash by 30% to 40%, but they crash by 50% every 10 to 20 years. The recession that Blue States would go through would soon be moved past. The collapse of Red States would be never ending.

The States are to determine the President.
No one in the modern age would have one government pick the leader of another government. It creates a system of state control above control of the people. In the modern world, that is bizarre.

It's time for Red States to expel the blue States from the Union. It's just not working for us anymore.
America has less than 5% of the people on Earth, and gets nearly 25% of the prosperity. That is another way of saying it is working very well for us.

So true, and either libs like those at this forum are oblivious to the fact that they enjoy having the U.S. be run by an oligarchy
or they are clueless as to what represents an oligarchy.
The Democrats are talking about all the people electing the government. Republicans are talking about a few members of the state government electing the government. Which one sounds like an oligarchy to you?

Im starting to wonder if populist elected senator is ok because God dammit GOVERNMENT doesn't need more representation.

that would just make it easier for blackrock to get their guy in.

I'd like to politely ask for your unambiguous definition of "the prosperity" (with the article "the" included, of course) that takes into account the $35 Trillion debt, which represents a 136% debt to GDP percentage, and the perilous threat of default leading to economic collapse.

We definitely need Trump to fix this, not Kriminala to effect the economic apocalypse.

trump calls himself the king of debt. his solution is always more debt.

The USA still exists today, i.e. in the modern era.
And yet the states no longer pick the Senators, and have not picked the President in even longer. Republicans want one part of government picking the other, because they cannot get support from the people.

And yet the states no longer pick the Senators,
False. Each State picks its Senators.

and have not picked the President in even longer.
False. Perhaps you've noticed the Electoral College.

Republicans want one part of government picking the other,
You don't appear to know what anyone wants.

because they cannot get support from the people.
The President is chosen by the States, not by popular vote. Your statement doesn't make any sense.

You are just open about wanting to replace human rights with state rights. You want to give power to governments, and take away freedoms from people.
you are delusional, as usual. repealing the 17th doesn't do anything you stated.

why do you think the founders had state legislatures select senators?
