JEFFREY TOOBIN: ABORTION will be ILLEGAL in 20 states in 18 months...

Good luck there ladies. Keep a credit card tucked away in case you have to FLY somewhere long distance to exercise your CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT. Toobin has become more and more frustrated but he's NOT a flamethrower.

But not to worry, ONLY the poor women who don't have assets and American Express cards who are trapped are the ones who will really suffer. You know the ones that can afford it the most.

following news that Associate Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy will be leaving from the court.

That's horrible....... Women won't stand for it.

Right wing politicians are now going to have to put their money where their mouth is. Under Roe v Wade, they could pander to the pro-life crowd while being free of bearing the responsibility for actually denying women abortions. When they ban it, I guarantee you a litany of horrors is going to result, just like it did in Ireland.

Why is this still even a political issue? The best thing that could happen politically is that government take a stance that they will stay out of it. A woman's choice and that is it.

ROE V. WADE. Surely you've heard of it. You know sent down by the SCOTUS. As I remember citing at least 3 or 4 of the Bill of Rights.

(This board really has some profoundly stupid people here. Sorry, but REAL ignorance is displayed).
I'm not talking about some bullshit decision, baby killer.

The SCOTUS was wrong. Murder is wrong, and the Constitution does not support it.

If by "killing an unborn child" you mean having an abortion in the 1st trimester, many justices who know much more about the Constitution than you or I over the years have said yes.

Overturning Roe will be about controlling women - it won't be about the sanctity of life.

I am responding to his assertion that it was a constitutional right. regardless of when it is during the pregnancy, ending the pregnancy ends the life of an unborn child. That is scientific fact.

It isn't about 'controlling women'... that is simply nonsense the left uses to justify the dehumanization of the unborn child.

Men and women have the ability to choose when to have sex, when to use protection etc... with the exception of rape, they make the choice together. If their actions result in the creation of a life, then they are responsible for that life. You can argue when an unborn child should have legal protections, but the nonsense of it being about controlling women is just that... nonsense.

i'm curious to know why you believe that judges know more about the constitution than you do. are you incapable of reading?

here we go again with the pro birthers. they want a person who thinks she is incapable of raising a child to have one anyway. There are lots of credible reasons that a child can wreck plans and hurt a family. People who are not ready and not able to raise kids do get pregnant. People get raped. They get molested by family, fathers, brothers uncles and friends of the family. We don't all live in a TV family with great controls and assets.

If the religious people really want a child to have a baby, they should set up funding to school the kid, help with child care, provide healthcare and psychological help. But the fact is they want to force a stranger who does not want a baby, to have one. Then they walk away from the problems they created.

"Controlling women" is probably too broad. No doubt, there are those on the pro-life side who are sincere, and probably many.

But there are those who hide behind the "sanctity of life" stuff. They don't really care about life. Many are the same who enthusiastically support unnecessary wars, the death penalty and other policies which are as far from the sanctity of life as you can get.
