Kasich vs. Sanders would have been such a great campaign

Do you think you can get that 'someone with immense mental acuity' to tell us what 'read bricks' are ?

Both Kasich and Sanders will do nothing about the millions of illegals in the country nor secure the borders.....that seems to be an important subject for a hell of a lot of voters.....

Do you think 12 million plus illegal, non citizens, undocumented people have a detrimental effect on the country, or is your view just the opposite ?
in the grand scheme of things they do us more good than harm and the certainly don't provoke the shit your pants terror that it arouses in kkkonservatives. The problem is easily solved with out wasting money on stupid assed ideas that won't work like walls or militarizing our borders or inhumane persecutions just because a certain segment of the population is shit your pants scared of Latinos.

The fact is you don't care about solving the illegal immigrant problem or you'd support the only solution that will work. Prosecuting those who employ illegal aliens. No, that's not what you want. Is it?

The fact of the matter is even your last point you can still only do to a certain extent. Unless we are going to have authorities who hide outside Home Depot and bust people who drive by and pick up day laborers, or go to thousands upon thousands of individual homes to see if the maid or gardener is legal you can't come close to stopping them all that way.

Just goes to show you women like darla have few if any principles.. she is suddenly "conservative" on many issues (seriously when has she ever described herself as such in all the years on here) as soon as clinton is running

big money in politics? nationbuilding? nope.. doesn't matter anymore when she has the chance to get a woman into the whitehouse.
its not about principle Grind. It's about our different nature. A great politician once said "If you give a man the key to power he will use it to conquer. If you give a woman the key to power she will use it to emasculate. Clearly Darla would like to emasculate you. I suspect she's not alone.

it's been [0] days since mott made an utterly useless post

Hillary voted for the Iraq War. She is not a very principled candidate, and is politically expedient.

Zero to do w/ her gender.

Kasich supported the Iraq war although he wasn't in Congress to vote for it.

"...in November 2002, Kasich, then a former congressman, made a very different argument during an event at The Ohio State University, as the United States was gearing up for war in Iraq."We should go to war with Iraq. It's not likely that (Saddam) Hussein will give up his weapons. If he did he would be disgraced in the Arab world," he said then.

Kasich's 2002 comments, in front of a crowd of 100 students at the Kuhn Honors and Scholars House, were reported at the time by The Lantern, Ohio State's student newspaper, under the headline: "Fireside speaker favors war with Iraq."

Intell from Germany, France, the UK, the US, Italy, and just about everywhere else said the same thing.....and it was the same thing Clinton ranted about from 1996 on until 2001....
ie....Saddam and his WMD posed a threat......so how do you reconcile your belief.....??? Did everyone lied?

Clinton didn't "rant on" about it for four years, he was preoccupied with his impeachment and other issues.

True, but there's no arguing it's the most affective solution and it would drastically reduce illegal immigration. Also, providing employers with the real time tools to identify persons of unqualified residence status is also very effective. E-Verify has had a significant impact and has played a major role in the recent decline in illegal immigration and many who have are returning cause they can't game the system to find employment. My wife has been complaining that she hasn't been able to staff her house keeping department cause E-Verify keeps catching applicants whose DOB don't match their SS number.

Point being there are solutions that work which are not based on hate, bigotry and fear which will actually work, won't waste vast sums of tax payers money and won't demonize or criminalize hard working poor people seeking a better life.

Onceler I ask this for the sake of discussion. When you say you are anti-war are you referring specifically to the Iraq War or any/all war in general?

(The caveat in that question being I don't think too many people are 'pro-war' but if polls are to be believed 90% of our country supported going into Afghanistan post 9/11 for instance)

I opposed both A'stan and Iraq and both were very unpopular stances at the time.

Wouldn't that have been war mongering?

That doesn't answer the question I'm trying to understand. How would letting Saddam invade Kuwait and doing nothing about it been better than kicking him out but not taking him out?

Bringing down the House of Saud. Uniting the often turbulent ME under a single banner, which historically produces peace in the region (Assyrians, Persians, Parthians, Turks, etc.).

Of course it wouldn't have lasted. He had two sons.

So, wth is the purpose of borders in the first place....do you let your neighbor park his car in your driveway or plant his garden in your yard ?....You might as well with your logic.

Think the Mexicans would be ok with the US building our next sewage plant south of the Rio Grande ? or maybe hold our radioactive waste for next 25,000 years

I know your not as stupid as you post makes you look, or at least I thought that before.

Do I really need to post his quotes on the subject again ? Or Hillary's....or numerous other Democrats railing about the dangers of Saddam and his WMD, pre-war.....

Is that really necessary ?

I love how you think those quotes are some kind of trump card.

You will never get it.
