Kasich vs. Sanders would have been such a great campaign

Are we talking about the same intel that Clinton had; that generated so many comments from the liberals, regarding Iraq and what needed to be done??

Another "Dem quotes" disciple.

It's already been argued ad nauseum by your fellow apologist. And it didn't work when he did it, either.

Why can't you guys own up to your idiocy on Iraq?

Intell from Germany, France, the UK, the US, Italy, and just about everywhere else said the same thing.....and it was the same thing Clinton ranted about from 1996 on until 2001....
ie....Saddam and his WMD posed a threat......so how do you reconcile your belief.....??? Did everyone lied?

My take on all of this, is as follows:
1 - Saddam continually violated the terms set down, after he was driven back from Kuwait.
2 - Saddam did everything he could, to circumvent the inspectors from doing their job(s).
3 - He bragged that he had WMD and it was believed, due to #1 and #2.

I look at it like this.
The police are looking for a criminal and he's doing all he can to thwart them.
He's making comments about refusing to surrender, he intends to fire on anyone who tries to take him into custody, he's exhibited hostile behavior towards cops in the past, and they get intel that he's in possession of good number of hand guns.

When he's finally found and surrounded, he makes furtive moves that create the idea that he intends to act on his previous comments.
After he's shot and dies, it's discovered that he was just a blow hard and wanted to scare the cops.

The fault that he was believed and ended up dead, is his fault.

A 2002 NIE wrote that Saddam wasn't even a threat to his immediate neighbors in the Middle East.

Saddam was never a threat to our country. This was not "war as a last resort." Stop buying into the fiction that everyone sold you.

So once Japan was no longer a threat to THE US, America should have brought all of their ships, planes, and troops back to the US??

Well, that explains a lot. No wonder you feel as you do if you're reading reports that have been 75% redacted.

And even w/ the redactions, it has as "low confidence" the idea that Saddam could attack the U.S.

This was not a WMD war. It was a PNAC war. PNAC wanted to re-shape the Middle East - even Paul Wolfowicz admitted that WMD's were what they used to sell the war to the public.

Unless we all wake up a bit & learn what happened to us in '03, we're really doomed to repeat the same mistakes again.

So you want the US to ignore all the treaties they've signed and ignore everything that happens, as long as they're not a threat TO the US?

If God would bless us with Kasich vs. Sanders, they could do a photo op, and hang a banner that reads "All the Evil Candidates are Gone."

:kipyes:

Every single empire that has ever been has desired to expand its borders. That's the nature of States, going back to time immemorial.

Really?....funny Guam, Indonesia, American Samoa, Japan, Saipan, Midway, Wake Island, and a few others places aren't US States.........we should be an empire by now....

In thingys eyes, those FACTS mean nothing.....When Democrats say something, its OK

When Republicans say the SAME EXACT THING....its a lie.....go figure....

then of course, we're in denial, and he's not.....

you didn't believe in fantasyland and damn, Thingy lives there.....

Just because you refuse to accept FACTS, doesn't mean that they aren't true.
You're so determined to make this entire situation about Bush, that you just reject anything that ruins your dream.

Why is that??
You're the one who only wants to consider those threats that directly threaten the US.

The only real threat Saddam posed to the US was he was begining to sell his oil to European union countries for Euros instead of dollars. That threatened the stability of the financial hegemony the US always enjoyed over the rest of the world.
Bush and company invaded Iraq largely for that reason.

But you're a proven liar, Bucky, so what you think is always questionable.

Are you honestly Implying we aren't an empire?

Refute anything I said in that post, Madam racist, if you think you can.
In your honest opinion is David Duke a racist?
We will understand what it means if you can't or won't answer.

Why are you an anal retentive liar, with a misguided sense of entitlement?
EVERYONE will understand, if you refuse to honestly answer.

Thank you madam racist for that very revealing evasion of that simple question.
In your honest opinion is Tom Metzger a racist?
