Mental Illness is not to blame for gun violence

If you read my posts, you'd see that I think everyone should be vaccinated and those that don't are going to make this worse for everyone...we need at least 95% of people to get the vaccine, that way we can stop the spread of the virus, and prevent any variants from evolving past the protection of the vaccine.

Basically, the longer it takes to get 95% vaccinated, the more likely variants are to evolve that can overcome the vaccine, which will put us right back to where we were in Q1/Q2 2020.

I want everyone, Trumpanzees included, to get the vaccine.

People dying from COVID once a vaccine is already out there are needless deaths that didn't have to occur. I don't care who those people are...they could be leftist anti-vaxxers for all I care, but I don't celebrate those deaths...I'm disappointed by them because they're making it harder for us to determine if the vaccine is working.

Half of Repub men said they will not get vaccinated. That essentially assures is no herd immunity is possible. si thanks to their anti science bent, We will live with Covid for a long time as new variants brew.

I know, it's really fucking annoying and it makes me very angry knowing that so many Conservatives are too lazy and too proud to do the work to overcome a disease they all said was a hoax.

what process did you have to go through in order to buy them?

My pistol was a private purchase but I we did the deal at a gun store. After paying the guy, I had to wait 10 days and take a test. My other two are rifles that had the 10 day waiting period.

then that wasn't really a private sale. I've done a private sale where I inspected the weapon, handed over cash, and walked away with an addition to my arsenal.

that you use 'one off' examples to consider as people who shouldn't own guns...........police officers have done some of these very same things and are still police officers.....have you made your voice heard to get those cops off the streets?

They weren't one off. I tried to post a youtube video, but there was no submit button. But police officers don't wave guns around during a road rage argument. Police officers don't give machine guns to nine year old girls and then get killed by same nine year old. Police officers don't point guns at passers by. Police officers don't look down the barrel of a gun because it didn't fire. Stupid people do those things. Stupid people with guns is a very dangerous social issue and said people shouldn't have them.

if you had to interact with a government entity or process, it wasn't private. private means between the two parties.......

Dude: it was a private sale from one private citizen to another wherein the purchase could go through the motions of the legal requirements. I didn't by it on the black market.

so you're claim is that police are not stupid??????

if a government entity was involved, via background check, it was not private. end of story

I'm claiming that police don't do idiotic things that I've seen others do. And everyone of my examples made the news; one's on Youtube.

I've read a story where a police officer left a duty handgun in the pouch in back of the drivers seat, subsequently being shot by his toddler when he found it. maybe you remember the ATF agent, Lee Paige, when he shot himself in the foot during a class where he said he was the only qualified to handle a gun. the list goes on..........but i'm betting you want a more comprehensive list now, right?
