islam thrives on being the underdogs and the newbies

The concept of unified world economy is not repugnant in and of itself, what's repugnant is the apparent lack of a moral framework for the new world culture. Willingness to use slavery and human subjugation as a cost cutter should be not a be an internationallyy legitimized 'comparative advantage'.

I suspect that the demand for oil exceeding the supply will be the first major factor.

The future of Europe is going to be that of an Islamicized one. Out here, well, we are becoming more Christian and conservative, with Evangelical and Catholic Christianity on the rise intranationally and internationally as immigrants flow in from Latin America...

That should give a new meaning to West and East!
 
And fuel for the extremists Jihad on both sides unfortunately.
However Islam is a growing thing here in the good ol US of A as well. I posted on the growing number of Islamic mosques a few days ago.

The non-religious affiliated make up a majority of most European nations, and rational, moderate atheism is growing faster than Islam, though not very much faster than radical, fearmongering Evangelical Christianity.

I'd really rather be "exploited" making 5.85 an hour in America than be making .85 an hour in Mexico and starving along with my family.

Just my opinion.

it seems that where there are a lot of pre-existing muslims, they tend to convert to another religion

where a particular religion has become entrenched, any new/other religion looks better to the youth of the area

anyone notice how few islamic radicals there are in the us of a compared to the total islamic population?

most muslims in nations where there is no islamic government prefer to keep it that way and just get on with their lives
 
Yeah DQ I posted a thread on the number of Muslims and Mosques in the USA.
And we have had a minor incident or two, but were those outsiders ?
I have no problem at all with muslims unless they have a problem with me.
And even if the have a problem with be but take no action against , I really don't give a rats ass either.

For some reason many think I am supposed to hate or fear them though....

i did find a method for keeping religious zelots from returning or even coming to my door - look out the door and if they look like fanatics then i take off my clothes off, pick up my two-handed broadsword and open the door - works for just about anyone you do not want to waste your time...

Not all religions are the same, some more clearly support fanaticism than others. Some are DESIGNED to be tools of state power. SOme started as something else and were CODIFIED into a tool of state power. Some are lousy as a tool of state power. And then, there are radial atheists. The war on religion is as ridiculous as the war on drugs.

That reason is called rationality, and a desire to survive. You SHOULD fear people who want to convert you to islam or kill you.

You can also runaround mostly naked on all fours barking like a dog, they will leave and never come back.

Wow what a depressing thought. We can live with Mohameds crazy followers or the crazies that follow Jesus. The end of enlightenment will be a very sad thing indeed.
 
It's really sad how a peaceful, reasonable religion like Judaism could be mutated into the horrible militaristic abominations of Islam and Christianity. The sensationalistic often triumphs over the rational, though.

I mean, really. The entire Christian and Muslim concept of Satan and the war between heaven and hell is entirely made up.
