But more significantly, he was also the first christian.

Wrong, his followers were. not Jesus himself.
What is the definition of Christian AHZ ?
He was a follower of himself ?

He believed christ, himself, to be the son of god. That is certainly an extra-jewish belief.

Buddha was a hindu. So what. There's where you come from, and then there's where you're going.

I believe that Christ was "of, pertaining to, or derived from Jesus Christ or His teachings..."

The first definition is exactly as I said, "Christ-like".

Well duhhh
anyone will be like themselves that is the only way they can be.

You sir are now being obtuse.
No, attempting to say he wasn't a "Christian" when his belief system was clearly outside of Judaism and far more in the realm of Christian, is obtuse.

Don't be sad, pinnochio, someday you'll be a real little boy.
Christ was a Jew. The night of his arrest he was celebrating passover. Though he sought to modify the covenant he NEVER renounced his Judaism. He was the first Reform Jew only his reforms didn't take. He lived and died as a Jew. He was buried according to Jewish law and he sought to rid his religion of the corruption and the hipocracy but as I said he NEVER renounced his Judaism.

He was of jewish ethnicity. Theologically he was the first christian, considering jews today don't believe in a 'modified covenant'.

He lived by jewish tradition, was educated in the temple, etc...He was a JEW AHZ.
A radical Jew towards the end, but a Jew none the less.
