Paul Draws 5000!

of course there were non-hippies there. And support for Ron Paul is not strictly based on his war position. If you are promoting yourself in Berkeley you must appeal to the hippies. Otherwise it would be like campainging in Oakland but saying we are going to ignore the black voters.

You know, in every way except for this war, Ron Paul is probably as close to you in thinking as you are going to find…so you are a one-issue voter now, do you think?

how does this turn into what I want to vote for?

Or the lesbians. :)

I guess I was confused by your previous comment.

Oh, ok…well, from what I can make out of your opinions over the years, I think that out of all the candidates Ron Paul is closest to you, he is the best fit for you. With the exception of the Iraqi war.

So what I am wondering is, why aren’t you supporting Paul? Do you think you have become a one-issue voter? That issue being the Iraqi war.

Short answer: Yes. :)

This Paul guy is so in line with Cawacko's views, its not even funny. C'mon Cawacko, you know you believe this guys world view of far-right libertarianism, and government small enough to drown in a bathtub.

You're just emotionally invested in never admitting your war was wrong. Isn't that it? :)

ps: hey, is USC still choking?

I like Ron Paul a lot. If you ask me why I don't sing his praises here more the answer would be because there are enough other people doing that. If you notice I haven't sung any praises for Rudy, Romney, McCain or Thompson either.

They've turned it around. They have a big game against ASU on Thanksgiving Day. They can still end up in the Rose Bowl which would never be a failure but considering that they started the season #1 it would definitely be a disappointment.

WHAT'S Ron up to in the polls 2%?

Ten or fifteen million dollars, or whatever the hell he's got - sure BETTER get him more than 2, 3, or 4% of the vote.

With a warchest like that, if you can't sell your far rightwing libertarian philosophy to more than a handfull of people, then hardly anybody is buying what your selling.

Economics 101. :cof1:

Well, do you know who you are going to vote for yet?
